We actually don't save much (if anything), we just love the vibe. But I also hear your comments. Speedmaster has acrylic! People are overly obsessed with sapphire. I love both for different reasons. I agree with the acrylic decision on this one.

I have the Green dial version. I hope they restock the Orange dial because I can see myself owning both. It's the most comfortable watch I own. I am shocked there are only 3 reviews of this watch on youtube. I love how the hands reach out far to the ends of the dial, the paddle tip second hand almost brushing the edge. Awesome detail!

This is a super cool watch, with a few caveats. The case and bracelet are awesome, but the flat dial is so boring. I wish they'd added a pop of color with the logo & text on the dial. And I hear you about acrylic, Marc...I love the way it looks, but prefer sapphire for a daily wear. I've covered acrylic crystals with micro-scratches, just by wearing thick flannel shirts LOL. And absolutely NOBODY wants to be bothered polishing out scratches from a crystal. Question: would you rather have this watch or a Lorier Neptune for $500? Both acrylic crystals, Miyota 905S movement, same size, cool bracelet. I'd take the Lorier all day, because the dial has so much more visual interest. I do like this watch, but it's kinda boring IMO.

I'm not super high on Lorier, their case proportions can feel a bit out of balance for me, so I would choose the 11 Atmos.

With the acrylic, and the printed dial, it does have an early 60s diver's watch look, helped along by the odd choice of font used on the bezel. No one is going to buy one thinking that it is a professional diver's tool, so the feeble depth rating is not important. It's cool enough for what it is, if a little pricey.
