One of my favs......a great American lager! Very pleasant taste. I find it has sort of a banana note, which is unique. Great review!

Definitely one of my favorite macro lagers out there. Always hits the spot. Never got the banana note, but cool you pick up on that. I appreciate the comment, Randy! Cheers!

Congratulations on 1,000 beer reviews! I’m so glad you finally got to this milestone! It’s not my favorite macro lager but it’s still PFG for a macro. I gotta remember to bring you some Hamm’s when we meet up in a couple weeks. Hamm’s and Narragansett are definitely my favorite macros! Hard to believe I’ve watched 1,000 reviews from you, good thing is I still look forward to watching the next one so you must be doing something right! Congratulations on your milestone review! Looking forward to 10,000 more! Cheers, buddy! 🍻

Thanks so much, Jeff! I appreciate your support since the beginning, dude. Even when I didn't have a lot of subscribers, views or comments, I always enjoyed your comments. I totally agree. For what it is, this is pretty damn solid. Never had Hamm's before, so looking forward to that one! I can't wait to get together, too. Should be a great time! Cheers, buddy!

Congrats on 1k reviews Joe. That’s a great milestone. Great story to go with this one. I actually have a bottle of this in the fridge to review from a six pack I picked up a few weeks back. When I want a low cost lager this is one that’s on my shortlist. Busch was the first beer I ever tasted. And it is definitely not on my go to list. Haha. Great review Joe. Cheers!
@averagejoe7163 жыл бұрын
Thanks, buddy! Yeah, Busch isn't one that I've had in recent memory. Might need to revisit it, haha! I think for the price point and quality, I agree with you about it being on the short list for me when it comes to easily accessible low-cost Lagers. Genny Cream Ale is still my go to for cheap macro stuff, though! Cheers, Jay!

For sure, man. Like I've said, Adjunct Lagers aren't my favorite style, but there are certainly some within the style I can enjoy to some extent, and this is one of them. There's a time and place for almost every beer, IMO. Can't wait to see what you think of it, dude!

Coors Banquet was the beer that got me into beer. Still one of my absolute go-to beers if not my favorite. Miller High Life is close, then New Glarus Spotted Cow. Thanks for the review!
@averagejoe7162 жыл бұрын
That's awesome, Jonathan! As far as macro beers go, Coors Banquet and Miller High Life are up there, for sure. I enjoy Spotted Cow more than both, though. I wish I could that beer regularly here in Buffalo, NY. Thanks, dude! Cheers!

Coors Banquet is the best beer!! Hands down!! Coors Banquet you have to buy 3 months in advance of the month your in or it will be sour, because it doesn’t use, and preservatives and isn’t pasteurized.

One of my favorite American Lagers for sure, Luke. Thanks for the comment! Cheers!

@@averagejoe716 I’d probably go that order as well high life, banquet, budweiser.. must be the beechwood aging that makes it suck more. The worst in my opinion is Miller genuine draft. Just fucking awful

Totally disagree. It's not the best shit in the world but Banquet, Bud Heavy, Narragansett/Genesee cream, yuengling are all fine at room temperature I'm sure. Not that it's ideal but it's not disgusting either. Grow up. Miller/Busch maybe, but only if they're slightly warm, not if they were 70°

I feel like there's a time and place for any beer, Douglas. For me, I'd happily drink this at a BBQ or at a friend's house. I love craft beer, but it's sometimes it's nice to have a low-ABV chugger that doesn't break the bank. Coors Banquet wouldn't be my first choice, but it's inoffensive and solid enough, IMO. Thanks for the comment! Cheers!
