Looking forward to Macro Mondays…I dig the Sabres can. Cheers!

Thanks, Dan! Yeah, they're an official sponsor of the Sabres, I'm pretty sure. They're all over the place ad-wise during Sabres games and at the arena, so at least I hope so, haha! Cheers, buddy!

In order to get Minnesota Wild cans it used to be Michelob Golden Light but this year they switched to Bud Light which is a bummer.
@averagejoe716 Жыл бұрын
Damn, that is unfortunate! Then again, I haven't had either of those beers in a long while. Might have to add them to the list, haha!

Happy Macro Monday! Solid review! I'd like to see you do one on Fosters. I haven't had one of those in like 20 years! Looking forward to future Macro Mondays. Cheers!

Thanks, Jeff! Are we talking the blue can aka Foster's Lager, or the green can aka Foster's Premium Ale? I remember trying both and not being a fan, but I'm down to give either of them a go. Added to the list. Thanks for the recommendation, buddy! Cheers!

@@averagejoe716 I was thinking the lager, I don't think I've ever get had the green can. Either one would be a good macro review tho. 👍🏼

Duly noted, good sir. Not even sure I can get the green can anymore.

They have started selling beer here in Gas Station convenience Stores or any Grocery stores. I am in Toronto, Yes I love this beer. Its the cheapest beer here, but it tastes better then a lot of imported European ones

Nice! I know laws have changed in Canada (and Ontario) when it comes to beer/liquor, so that's cool to here. In the US, and specifically NY state (where I reside), this is a huge beer. It's available literally everywhere. I like it for what it is. Cheers!

Recently I had a beer that was my go to beer in 1982. Molson Golden Ale. Brought back memories of days on Lake Erie in the summer. Still as good as I remember it. A crusher back in the day. Cheers!

Damn, man. Molson Golden! I forgot about that beer. I have to see if I can grab that one. I think I had it once back in the day, as well. Don't remember much. Thanks for sharing your experience, Gregory. I'll add it to the list! Cheers, buddy!

I crushed this many moons ago. It’s not bad. I would drink it if somebody gave it to at a party or concert. As far as macro lists, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the brewery I grew up near, the oldest in America, Yuengling. So, even though I haven’t had one in over 5 years, I recommend Yuengling Lord Chesterfield Ale.
@averagejoe716 Жыл бұрын
I'm all about reviewing Yuengling Lord Chesterfield Ale, but Yuengling is still considered a craft brewery (at least to the Brewers Association), so I'd just do it as a normal review, but not like it matters, haha! The bigger issue is I haven't seen it around my neck of the woods in years. Not sure we get any distribution of it here. I'll look around, but it might have to be one I pick up the next time I'm in PA. Thanks for the suggestion, Ryan! Cheers!

@@averagejoe716 My bad. I did think they were still considered a craft brewery at this point. I’ve seen them as far south as Alabama and up in Maine while there for work.
@averagejoe716 Жыл бұрын
You're not alone, brother! I mean, if you think about it, Yuengling and Samuel Adams are pretty much macro at this point, but the Brewers Association moved the goalposts many years ago so they could still be considered craft. At the end of the day, you and I both know Yuengling is definitely in the macro realm, but honestly, it's something that doesn't bother me one bit. Whether it's macro or micro, if it's good beer, I'm all game. I still think Yuengling Lager is one of the best cheap lagers. They've definitely expanded distro at this point, for sure. I think they just hit Texas recently, as well.

It was my go to years ago , now it’s founders all day ipa.

I could totally see that transition, Stoney. I'll drink this whenever I'm out and about it and folks hand be a bottle or can. Honestly, reviewing this beer surprised me because it's way more drinkable and inoffensive than I thought. I guess when you sit down and dissect/think about a beer, the experience is much different. Cheers, buddy!

Alot of liquor is higher in canada the same products because canada always generally expects a higher abv to begin with. Light beer does not sell good here at all in canada
