ソロだとこうなるんだな。。って感動。ところどころKalafina時代のカッコいい声(響きのある歌い方？)になるので懐かしいけど、ソロになったKEIKOさんが主旋律歌いこなしモードになるとこれまでにないかわいい系の声になる。。(顔の空間利用した声とか？) KEIKOさんは隠し持っていたのだからすごいです。 もしかしたらこれまで「主旋律を語る役」「歌い上げる役」を二人にゆずってたのかな？ 雰囲気が、とコメントしている人はきっと、以前の「低音役」の時の歌声も聞きたいって言いたいのかも。

Keikoさんの本来の声域はこれほどあるということでしょうね。 kalafina時代は梶浦さんの望むようになりたい、Wakanaさんには歌に集中して欲しいなど良い意味で「駒」になることを演じていたのでしょうね。 アルトの役割的にも主旋律は他の二人がメインになるでしょうし。 Keikoさんの話し方ではそこまで地声は低くないようですので、あのアルトは努力の結晶として作り上げたものなんでしょう。二人を活かすために。 本当に頭が下がります。 是非これからの活躍に期待しますが、みなさん仰る通り低音の魅力も活かした曲もお願いしたいです😉

I appreciate your understanding o of the role of Keiko in Kalafina and the specific sounds she was often creating with her voice to fill out the low end. To achieve that low booming effect she needed to drop her larynx most of the time. It gave her that classical sound but takes a toll on the voice if used excessively. A lot of her fans want to hear her sing that way all the time, but it depends on the genre of Music. Pure pop songs require a lighter and breathy tone for softer sections with belting for climactic sections. I like her to use all the different colors of her voice in different styles of song.

Ofc Keiko's range was never limited to what she sang in Kalafina, c'mon guys. In a group you harmonize, that's what she used to do. Soprano - Wakana, Mezzo - Hikaru, Contralto - Keiko. That's how the group used to work. She's still a contralto but ofc she can hit higher notes than it seemed, not saying she'll sing in Wakana's range or anything, but she can probably hit some mezzo notes, which she did here.

I agree with you. Honestly, its fun seeing her try new ways of singing, and expand her abilities and versatility as a singer. So far, none of the three songs have truly stood out to me, but I still enjoy them enough, and its fun comparing them. Due to singers being limited in terms of their work/activities due to current events (Corona), and how she's just starting her solo career, there's probably no better time to experiment. As you've mentioned, she's already quite the singer, and though I would love Kalafina to come back more than anything, seeing her solo also really lets us see the range of her voice, or what she's been hiding.

もともと「oblivious」でもwakanaとの途中の掛け合いで、普通に高音をだしてましたから、 これがKEIKOの本来の声なんでしょうね。 地声も高いですし。 kalafinaのアルトは、努力の結晶であの低音を出すことができるようになったんだと思います。 ただ、せっかく出せるようになった低音の素晴らしさを活かした曲をいただくことができるようになれば もっといいんですけどね。 高音を出す歌手は履いて捨てるほどいますけど、低音が綺麗に出せる女性歌手は現在では かなり希少です。 今の時代、「普通」じゃ売れない（埋もれてしまう）ので、せっかく持った武器を活かすことができれば いいのになと思います。

本当にそう思います。能力を発揮できることと本当にやりたいことがなかなかmatchしないのは殆どの人にいえることなんですが、それでもあれだけ完成された誰にも負けない唯一無二の絶妙なハーモニーを先に聴いてしまうと個人的にはそれぞれが良くて「普通」の音楽に感じ、何というか勿体ないなと思わざるを得ません。三人のやりたい事を尊重するしかないですが私は素人ながらに耳も能も感動させられるあのハーモニーをまた聴けたらなと願っています。

I don’t like how people keep complaining that “HER VOICE IS TOO HIGH”. To me, Keiko was never just “the deep voice chick”, I love both her high notes and low ones. She is allowed to sing in the higher register if she wants to or if the song requires her to. I love her voice no matter how high or low the frequency. Obviously she is gonna use a different singing style now that she is singing different songs, plus she is experimenting with her voice. I think she still sounds very natural and beautiful. It’s not like she’s doing a Britney Spears-like baby voice :P All the love to Keiko, you have always been and always will be an amazing singer!

Yes, she has a wide vocal range. She just stayed with low voice for kalafina because that was her role. Hearing her speaking voice, i know she can hit high notes too. Her singles were superb. This is just the tip of the iceberg

Yuki kajiura, the composer of kalafina left the agency that she was in contract with - possibly due to disagreeing on an artistic vision. When kajiura left, keiko had to leave also because of how much she loved kajiuras music. Hikaru followed suit. Wakana decided to stay so that she could have a solo career in a familiar setting.
