kalafinaロスから５年。梶浦由記氏によるKEIKOソロシングルの本格的プロデュース。この日を待ち望んでいました。 ソロ活動やfictionjunctionを通じて地道に努力されていたし、ファンのことをとても大事にするKEKO様のことですから、こういったチャンスが巡ってきたのでしょう。これを機に更なる飛躍を遂げて欲しいです。私は、fictionjunctionの名曲「vanity」におけるKEIKOさんパート（イェイイェイイェイ節）フェチなのですが、今回の「夕闇のうた」にも「イェイイェイイェイ」節が入っているのは嬉しかったです。また、liricaの超低音からは想像もつかない高音も出せる音域の広さも魅力的です。明菜coverでも定評のあるKEIKO様。今回のような着物姿で「DESIRE-情熱-」を歌った暁には、ファンは泣いて喜ぶことでしょう。けいこ部屋期待しています。

I really like KEIKO san's voice in the song. I think the music, the melody, the arrangement in this song really suits her and it makes her voice even more charming. Yes, I was charmed again. At the beginning of song, the nostalgic feeling ran through my mind. I'm sure this must be composed by Kajiura Yuki and yes, she is composer. I think Keiko san's voice is really special, unique and beautiful and until now Kajiura san is the only one who knows how to make Keiko's voice shine the most.

And here I was, listening to the ending of "Sengoku Youko" all these weeks and I couldn't understand why I found myself thinking about Fate, Kara no Kyoukai and Madoka Magica. "This almost sounds like Yuki Kajiura, it's so good!". Then I found this video and read the description... Really amazing song and performance! KEIKO shining brightly!!!! Yes! Nice composition and music, and a really varied vocal performance from KEIKO. I like the fact that the navigated her registers and changed her tone as well, moving smoothly between all of them and using her ethnic "Kimetsu no Yaiba" vocalizations as well! She's defining herself as a multi-color vocal artist, beyond just a smooth, low voice crooner! I like this a lot and support her vocal evolution. It's paying off KEIKO!

名曲であることに間違いない。 曲の構成は、通常Aメロに当たる部分から（キーは低くなっているが）サビのメロディーを取り入れ、Bメロを挟んでサビに入る（インタビューでは一曲を通してサビを構成していると表現していた）。 このような構成は、緩急がつきにくくアニメソングには向かないようにも思う。しかし、編曲を通して劇的な曲に仕立て上げた梶浦さんは本当にすごい。Kalafinaやfictionjunctionのアニメタイアップの曲は、他の曲に比べてAメロ、Bメロ、サビがしっかりと作られていることがほとんどで、梶浦さんにとって少し新しい挑戦だったのではないか。 また、そのような難しい曲をアニメタイアップとして預けられるKEIKOさんとの信頼感も強いのではないかと思った。
