It is truly unfortunate that Avial did not receive the attention it deserved. The concept behind their music, rooted in malayalam folk tempered with rock and electro-- is enough to be held as a souvenir of ingenuity for the contemporary music scene from Kerala.Their songs not only immemoralizes the history of struggle against feudalism in Kerala but also carries the sweat and grime of its rhythm. Sadly, their voice is drowned in a culture of remixes and "feel good" music. So yes, please come back.

prabhakar sai i think they have not parted ways only their lead singer Anand Benjamin & Bassist Naresh Kamath have left the band.. its been ages since they independently came out with new song.. they should bring back benjamin n kamath n as they were unique they will rule the charts again..

@@arunnair7830 Really want Naresh Kamath to play bass for avial but I dont think he would even if Anandraj Benjamin Paul is back with them. Since Mr Kamath is with Kailasa. His style of playing the bass guitar is different from the rest .. one of the best Ive ever seen! Truly an inspiration.

Listening to this almost 10 years later... Amazed how forward these guys were in blending rock electro and folk.... Great lyrics and story.... They might not be the biggest name but they definitely paved the way for Rock roots in kerala

Im 17 and I started listening to this song literally yesterday. I am a hardcore punk rock, metal, alt rock fan. I can hear a huge incubus influence in this song, the keyboard riffs and breaks are mix of incubus and Linkin park. Incubus wish u were here and Linkin parks breaking the habbit and some songs in meteora sound same with Joe hand keyboard. Such an authentic band though❤️
