I’ve heard police officers on video say they escalated a situation to de escalate a situation. You can’t teach , explain or train people who seriously use and believe that kind of logic . De escalation is a “ Buzzword “ used by senior police officers advised by public information officers. Or as they are known in politics “Spin doctors “ . Police chiefs and other senior law enforcement officers don’t answer questions unless they have been submitted in advance and the tv speeches or prepared statements they make about serious situations or events are written for them by professional “Speech writers “ just as they are for politicians .

I worked for the police long enough to know.. that most of those so called awards a decorations are a joke . They are the equivalent of Hollywood Oscars. If you play ball and be a good boy.. you may be nominated. And maybe even win an award. Lets put it this way...the more brown noseinng, the more award you will get. 😂😂. Itd just sad and pathetic
