Y sí, ojalá que hagan la nueva terminal como el concepto original (con una cantidad similar de salas al la original) para que no tengamos que hacer la segunda inspección en la sala

Preciosa la nueva terminal, definitivamente un orgullo salvadoreno! Al momento, la nueva terminal (6 puertas en total) se usa para los vuelos desde y hacia USA. El problema esta en que hay mas de 6 vuelos entonces usan las otras puertas. En el plan maestro de la expancion, se prevee agregar 6 puertas mas a la nueva terminal (3 a cada lado similar al otro extremo, y por eso se volaron los hangares de la ex pista 35) Y la ultima etapa es remodelar el antiguo edificio terminal y la ultima fase agregar una 2da pista. Eso estaba en el plan maestro de CEPA pero no he visto senales de que sigan construyendo.

I didn't know that they started renovating their airport in El Salvador again ! I thought it was pretty new !? Very nice airport, indeed ! A bit nostalgic & more like an airport on a resort island which I like a lot like Hawaii !! The Honolulu one,Daniel K.Inoue international airport. Can you feature the new El Salvador airport !? I'd love to watch a video of it !! I love watching airport videos as well ! Lol.🛫🛬💜🥁🐉🎤🎶✈️🇸🇻💕💞

They do offer from Bogota. From El Salvador they will start offering them since June, even Air Transat flight is no longer seasonal.

Thanks for watching! Sometimes they do! But usually you can buy the seat through the webpage or at the counter. Sometimes they do offer the seat at a lower price before departure. Greetings!

I watched this one like 3, 4 times now ! Lol It was a very good review & the seats looked really comfy !! As you say ! That's very important for me & others who suffer from back issues !! I flew on Spirit before ( not by my own choice ,it was a gift trip ,a round trip with Spirit & American between Burbank L.A.and San Francisco )& it was so- uncomfortable ! Lol 😅It was also very scary as on our landing ,the pilot didn't stop the plane til we got real close to the end of the runway !!! 😱I was screaming !! LOL Now ,it's a funny memory ! 😄 My mom hated that airlines / flight ,too ! I have been very interested in Avianca for my future trips ( someday )to Nicragua, El Salvador, Ecuador, etc. I am determined to make 'em all !!! Lol. Then I picked Avianca because of the more affordable price & good services & safety records ,but also I'm willing to try more budget airlines, but the comfort level is very important to me as well & Avianca looks very good !! Maybe not as good like Jet blue ,but Jet Blue is expensive one amongst budjet airlines & they don't fly to those countries ! I have almost flown with 'em many times before ,but haven't yet ! For Avianca's logo changing A ..not sure what kind of reason or benefit or impact they aimed to get even by doing so ? Interesting,though !I loved the smooth landing at the end !! 👌 And a nice Canadian airport. 💜🥁🐉🎤🎶✈️💕💞

0:27 correction: Volaris also flies to JFK (although SAL is a stopover - the whole route goes SFO-SAL-JFK). I’d rather fly them to JFK if you can find the A319 serving the route as they’re the most comfortable jet operated by a LCC.

@@WSAirplanes of course you’re welcome. AV has become a disgrace - the prices on the IAH-SAL route on AV are more expensive than United somehow - in fact, if I get the more speed combo for 2 passengers on N3 it’s the same price as for one pax on AV.

Minor update: the schedules have been completely changed for the summer of 2024. Volaris SV operates the SAL-JFK route and there is no direct SJO-SAL flight with Volaris.

Alguien sabe si Avianca es estricta con las medidas del equipaje de cabina? Cuando volé con ellos en 2022 no revisaban el tamaño (mi maleta tenía un cm de más 😅), pero me gustaría saber si sigue siendo así o no. Saludos

En otro viaje que hice a inicios del 2024, me hicieron meter la maleta en el medidor en YYZ. En SAL solo me la han pesado, pero recomiendo no atenerse. Saludos!

Son muy estrictos con las medidas, si quieres viajar en una aerolínea de bajo costo que no mide el equipaje, Volaris es una buena opción - ni me pesaron el equipaje de cabina jajaja

Just returned from a trip to ES and Guatemala from Toronto . For the first time decided to fly Avianca. Not a good experience. Old planes, uncomfortable seats (even premium) , no onboard entertainment, overpriced low quality food for sale. By the time you add the cost of checked bags, it’s not even cheaper than other carriers. I’ll stick to AA or United in future

Only use avianca for domestic Colombian flights like Bogota to Cali, Medellin, Cartagena etc. Since many airlines don't fly nonstop to those cities when traveling internationally. They are short and low budget but time is priceless when on holiday.

It is a good idea to choose them if you decide to travel with only a bag (trips no longer than 3 days) But at last, the price is pretty much the same. Try booking different airlines per leg. Sometimes it can save you even more money just make sure that the conecting time match.

Ni madres que agarrara nada de este menu. Yo no cambio mi pollo campero por nada si estoy en El Salvador. El pollo original, la ensaladita, las papas y el refresco. Que mas quiere uno. Siempre con una bolsa para llevar tambien. O sino es pollo hay un monton de restauranes ahi. Es pura mierda esta aerolinea. Que bajo ha caido. Da tristeza.
