the ultimate goal is not realy to memorize these texts word for word but to gain fluency and confidence in your speaking. if practice this step by step, regularly and with various pictures you will reach a point when you won't need to memorize anything at all but just freely describe and improvise about what you see in a picture. hi! do you insist the right wing is damaged?) quite possibly, it's hard to tell though. and more importantly, it's not of critical importance whether there is damage or not for your description. add some "probably"/"it seems" etc structures and you will be on the safe side.
