8:50 The cockpit includes advanced safety systems such as EGPWS & TCAS which provide real-time alerts which prevent ground collisions and midair conflicts. Is a hostile hijacking considered a "midair conflict"? I remember before 9-11 they didn't even lock the cockpit door! But then those aircraft didn't cost $350 Million now, did they?

But to cut the testing period short, Boeing kept the same wings🪽as the -8/-9, which made the -10 less fuel efficient than its competitor the Airbus A350-1000. And it shows in the number of planes✈️sold/ordered. It remains my 2nd favorite plane after the A380.
