Truly outstanding video. Professional, matter- of- fact narration, solidly accurate historical background information, and first- class aircraft footage. Well worth one's time to watch, and many thanks to the team who produced this.

I love this well done segment on Bölke. His Dicta were the absolute bottom line of all fighter training, even into modern times. It's hard to overstate how important he was. Beautifully produced piece!! Thanks for uploading!❤

Thanks for the lack of 'music', and for using a proper camera. Also the informative narration.

Adore WW1 aviation! It’s too bad that Boelcke isn’t as recognizable or famous as Manfred Von Richthofen

Good flying by Knight and McKay at 5:15 imo, too bad they both were dead a year later.

01:21 : didn't the D II have its radiators on the sides instead of in its upper wing ?
@HistAvFilmUnitАй бұрын
Think the D.I had side radiators.
@trikkke11Ай бұрын
@@HistAvFilmUnit DI for certain had Windhoff ear radiators . Lots of modeling brands present DII also with them. OAW built prototype variants featured Teves und Braun wingradiators.

@@HistAvFilmUnit I can't tell if you're being sarcastic, or if this is just genuinely a coincidence, lol. Greg's Airplanes and Automobiles. Very similar presentation style and narration to this video, I actually thought this was one of his videos for a sec when I clicked on it since he just uploaded 2 days ago about the Albatross.
