This engines are always running on full opened throttles, you could pnly control them via the ignition. I'm not sure if that was done on inline engines to.

I guess as long as the engine runs when you need it to. Sounds like a two-stroke.

Anthony Fokker was a Dutch designer with a Dutch company, the planes were developed in the Netherlands and then bought by Germany. Werner von Braun was a scientist from Germany who fled to America, took American nationality and went to work for NASA where he worked on the further development of rocket technology.

People talk about the torque of that spinning engine, but that propellor is mighty long and heavy, and moves a lot of air. The torque from the prop must be considerable.

Fokker is pure Dutch design, no german at all (not the pinnacle of german design) . Be a good sport and admit your mistake. Watch the G1 in Paris 1936.

Do we say that it was the German's who first got into space because von Braun was the rocket designer at NASA after the war...? No, we don't. "so I no logic" but it appears that because English is not your first language, you may not be grasping some of the nuances of its use, and how native speakers use the language. I contend that the title of this video is still perfectly fine.

@historicalmachines
@historicalmachines 2 күн бұрын
I believe you are getting overly worked up over the semantics of the title or description. It was an aircraft used by the German Air Service in WW1, hence 'German'. One could easily ask the question 'Was the P51 the best British fighter aircraft of WW2' because the P51 was used by the RAF. Nothing about that title explicitly states that the P51 was designed BY the British. Your logic is not my logic. ;-)
