Actually Aviators is not a band but one man. It seems unbelievable okay but he went from My Little Pony songs to a self-consistent dystopic universe built only through his music.

Ghost of our Fathers, Apocalypse State of Mind, Sainthood and Sanctuary, Building Better Worlds, Dystopian Fiction... These are songs that make you feel something special because of their atmosphere but also think because of their very deep lyrics. "Where is the line between losing everything, and giving it all to say that you've tried?" Deeper than so many songs you listen to on mainstream media.

Just found your channel on Tuesday and started following today. It's kinda funny how I found you and relatable to this song. I have cancer and had an MRI on Tuesday and the music I asked for was kpop, but halfway through a emo alt rock came on, which I like that too but who wants to listen to something like that in a box, with loud noises all around and them talking about death when you're waiting to find out if you're cancer has grown, shrunk or no changes. Of course I was pissed off but wanted to finish before I bitched everyone out when I was done in the machine lol. Then came on youtube to find the song, I didn't but I found you and loved the style and songs. I was still pissed off and in a dark place but coming back today to follow. Shared with my husband who has never been into anything other than rock and he's probably going to follow soon! Thank you for bringing me back to a good place on Tuesday and today.

The rhythm feels kinda weird, but shit, I really like it. The electronic riff from the intro combined with the melody gives me like... The Word Alive, Bring Me the Horizon sorta vibes. Ik it's not, but this song could be a great tribute to Spike from Mlp.... idk why, but this song made me think of him.... He was always there for the group, but it always seemed that his acts (with a few exceptions) were always thoughtful, and thankless. Especially when it came to Rarity. But that's just my interpretation pf both this piece, and Spike's character.

I've always liked the idea of a man, or woman, seeking safety and security within a faith. Only to realize the Church does not truly care for it's worshippers, but it's own agenda. Almost makes the entire character prompt to safe those trapped within this Faith. After all... Faith can be a powerful weapon wielded against the Faithful.

for the lore people i think this is a song about a person who joined a cult thinking it would save him but in the end he abandons it seeing that his old life was just as "good" as this new one this story should take place during the bleeding sun rule time (just look in the desc)
