A short trip report on AVIATSA's B737-200 HR-MRZ on a flight from Tegucigalpa (TGU) to Roatan (RTB). AVIATSA operates this full charter for a hotel on Roatan shuttling tourists between the Honduras' capital city and the touristic islands. HR-MRZ was originally delivered to Air Malta in 11/03/1983 and is in excellent condition. A big thank you to Felix, Oscar, the crew of AVIATSA for making this flight possible.

This is a classic airplane. It's great to still see the old Boeing 737-200 still flying. The paint scheme on this aircraft is amazing!! Nicely painted airplane it is.

I flew on this exact plane in September, great plane and great flight crew. Maybe you should try Avior airlines, I heard they have some 737 200’s.

Well, from an aviation enthusiast perspective definitely :) One of the few 732s left in service. Very friendly crew, open for enthusiasts and I was also allowed into the cockpit on two of three flights. From a general passenger perspective if you expect IFE and a full meal service, then it may be disappointing. But since they only fly short domestic sectors, none of this should be expected by passengers. Overall I would definitely recommend them :)

Hi Santiago, thanks for your comment. Just saw Morazan made it to the airliners.net frontpage with the most popular photo. Booking a flight can be done with hm-resorts: henrymorgan.hmresorts.com/contact I called one of the numbers quoted there and was transferred to an agent who then sent me a booking form and credit card payment form via email. I did it on short notice about 3 days prior to the flight. It was a bit old school but worked fine. If you need further help, let me know, happy to support.

@mco747 Sorry, I overlooked your question. At that time I flew they were flying for HM Resorts, so I was able to call the hotel and book a roundtrip through them. I paid cash at the counter eventually, and I got an upfront ticket via email. This cooperation has now ceased and they flew earlier this year for Aerolineas Sohsa, but not sure if this is still the case today.
