Picked up a Pixel 9 Pro out of curiosity. Planned to return it after my experiment. After three days... WOW! I just can't give up so many of the convenience and intelligent features Pixel brings. I found "Apple Intelligence" but it's on someone else's phone and they call it Gemini. Picked up the Pixel Watch 3 45mm and it's so much better than the Apple Watch Series 10. Plus Fitbit has easily replaced 5 health iOS apps I used with Apple Health to track, understand and plan out my workouts. Fitbit is also enhanced with AI and collectively is cheaper than the many apps I need on iOS to get the same details.

I have the pixel 9 pro XL and I've been using pixels since Nexus but the nine pro XL. I just can't put it down. It's an amazing phone top to bottom and I think the most addictive part about it is that darn screen. This screen is amazing. The colors, the brightness and even the sound coming out of the speakers is great. It's just a great all-around experience. The modem is great. Telephone calls are great and I don't get paid anything but this phone is definitely an awesome phone and the AI is usable. It works! I love it!

This.... Is why i switched. Longtime iPhone user (v7 with upgrade every year). I get a new pixel entry year also, but it only lasts a few weeks before I'm back on the iPhone. Last year's pixel fold almost grabbed me, but a dark screen bug that took a few months to fix, pushed me away. This years pixel 9pro fold grabbed me, and hasn't let me go. My iPhone 15 pro Max has become a bed table clock. It's not a few really good things that converted me. It's the collection of little things plus the AI implementation, that did it. I'm coming up on 2 months with the pixel with no side eye at the iPhone.

I buy the Ultra every year, and then get hand-weary because of how wide it is. I am 6ft tall and my hands are fairly large. But the Ultra is just a bit too much. I have a good pixel 9 pro xl. It is much more comfortable to use. However, I have dual SIM with my work and personal numbers both as ESIMs on the Pixel. The dual sim support on Android and especially the Pixel is HORRENDOUS to say the least. 1. No RCS support for both lines. Only 1 line 2. Google dialer does not let you choose the SIM you want to use on the fly. So if I have my personal number set up as primary number and I receive a work call and I miss it, if I want to call back, I do not have the option to choose the SIM I want to use. So stupid. 3. Samsung lets you choose the SIM you want. But the haptics and voice to text is FAR superior on the Pixel. It's crazy, but Apple has all of these basics PERFECTLY ironed out. Dual sim support, all lines on the phone supported by imessage, etc. Seriously thinking of switching back to ios, especially after ios 18 theming. The dark mode icons are really cool. I can't believe Apple beat Google to the punch when it comes to theming.

🐬 I’m using the 15pm if I was going to try another Android out again it would be Google. The reason I can’t leave Apple because it’s too convenient for me I use Apple Pay for everything I don’t even carry money hardly ever. Plus I use Apple Pay daily for sending and receiving funds. My phone is setup like my personal assistant. Google pixel be catching my attention though, but I know that it’s gonna be a lot of changes to get use to. The family all use’s iPhones too. That’s another reason I’m tied in to. I ask did the wanna try Google and they weren’t going for it.😄😄😄
