Can’t remember. I was able to find it online through the company name. Try that. Make sure you choose the correct device. They are all pre-cut.

Why put screen protector on? What’s wrong with leaving screens without after cleaning? Your avidynes are not touch screen. We found the protective shield has a slight negative dimming effect. also we found not having original anti glare film has a marginal glare problem. After we tried with and without, we’re happy to leave off. The glass is very easy to clean with microfiber cloth.

That is purely up to you. I find the anti-glare to be better fro me, but you can certainly leave the original coating. It was just a little too shiny for me.

It is unfortunate your progress has been slowed by the 'missing' part. At this point what is your total flight hours and how many of it in the Cirrus? Great plane by the way. Enjoy!

I am a 180 hour pilot and now have about 30 hours in the Cirrus. I love this plane! Previously owned aircraft were a Piper Cherokee 180 and a Cessna 150.

If I’m not mistaken covering the screens like this invalidates the service plan. This means if you want to send yours in for a warranty exchange, they won’t honor it. Correct me if I’m wrong please.

I have looked throughout the COPA site and cannot find any information on that. It is possible that this would be the case on the newer "touch sensitive" screens, but the MFD/PFD is all bezel-button controlled and the visibility is vastly improved. I would not recommend this on any touch screens. Note that the GNS430's are also non-touch, so the same applies to them. Many COPA members have already done this with similar positive results.

It will not void the extended AeroPlan™ Warranty. However If you try to do an exchange vs repair they will charge you $1,548 for a Mod 22 on the MFD and Mod 48 on a PFD If you are just doing a repair of your unit then it doesn't matter. Per the Entegra Pilots Guide. 11.5 Cleaning the EX5000 Screen If your EX5000 screen should become dirty due to fingerprints or dust, clean the screen using the following materials and methods: ● A clean, soft lint free cloth such as 3M Ultra-Brite Cloth # 2011 or similar. ● A cleaning solution composed of de-ionized water or isopropyl alcohol (IPA). Always apply the cleaning solution directly onto the cloth. Never spray cleaner directly onto the screen.
