Really dissapointed by the fact that a civic, not even an accord, costs 60+ lakhs, a Hyundai Sonata costs as much as this, and is significantly more luxorious and also bigger than this overrated car. But either way amazing review by the best car reviewer in our country!

Firstly exchange rate is high, secondly it's a brand new car bought from Japan and 137% is the import duty of a 1.5L car, thirdly India does not get Japanese cars, and there is no Civic made for Indian market (India has their own market where cars are manufactured for their own market they neither export nor import, hence there is no requirement for safety measures, performance and other features. Cars there are different than anywhere else most cars are cheap econoboxes), fourthly JDM reconditioned cars are expensive inside Japan too a Civic in Japan starts from 4.5 million yen, in UK a Civic is roughly 34-40k pounds. Last year Civic was 39 lacs taka brand new in Bangladesh which is now 63 lacs due to economy instability and chip shortage. Hope it answers all your questions.
