Interview to John F Galindo, poet and novelist, winner of Bicentenario sponsorship 2019 submitting its first novel: "Planes that crash against everything".
"Mira que casualmente es una novela que está enmarcada políticamente en esto que sucede hoy, que creo que es la historia que nos ha tocado vivir siempre, creo que es una historia que se repite, una historia cíclica, gran parte de la novela sucede en algunos disturbios que ocurren en la universidad, entonces también digamos que políticamente también habla de esa realidad que a nosotros nos tocó vivir, esa realidad que está inmersa en el conflicto que nos ha tocado de alguna manera, que tocó a mi familia, que tocó a mis amigos que están muertos, que toca digamos la vida muy profunda de esas personas que políticamente me enseñaron a mí a ser y permanecer en éste mundo conflictivo, y creo que, casualmente es una novela que podría perfectamente ubicarse hoy, es una novela que de alguna manera habla de la represión y no solo de esa represión estatal que vivimos a diario, que hoy evidenciamos, sino también de la represión que uno ejerce contra uno mismo, que ejerce con los demás con uno mismo, y entonces creo que por ahí va la cosa".
