Aviyah - Hezekiah' s Mother

In this teaching, Aliyah takes a deep look at one of Judah’s righteous queen mothers Aviyah, the mother of King Hezekiah. Married to one of Judah’s most wicked kings, King Ahaz, Aviyah found herself in the middle of war, paganism, idolatry and she watched as her husband offered his children as sacrifices in the fires of pagan deities. All the while she guarded her son, taught him about Yahweh and even saved his life numerous times. This teaching not only examines the life of this queen, but also it is an encouragement for unequally yoked marriages and for anyone concerned about the salvation of their children.
