4:40 I have one question for home designers; if you want those shirts ironed, where does the ironing board go? Nothing worse than struggling through the house with an ironing board, trying to find a "non traffic-way" place to put it up...(assuming the owner isn't living alone, of course, in which case, any room would do). Also, extra narrow hallways and doorways make bringing in larger furniture pieces troublesome. Speaking as someone who has lived in over 40 different places in my life, and observed some homes with difficult access...

You're right but not too many people are ironing these days. I guess any flat platform around the house would do. Maybe using the island from the kitchen.

Love the way this home is designed; however, for me, I'd need bigger master with a big walk-in closet and my own bathroom. That is the only thing I'd change. As a vacation home this would be perfect as is but as your main home the closet space and bathroom situation is not ideal. As a forever home taking down the wall between the kitchen and dinning would be great.

Another designer question: in my extended family, everyone wants room for a second refrigerator. And a dedicated place for holiday decorations and just extra household stuff such as: luggage, extra appliances (second vacuum cleaner, folding chairs,etc).

The house is lovely and has everything I would need . But the concreet color halways and walls are a very unwelcoming color . I think a taupe or terra color would also fit better with the wood color of the floors and make it look more cosy and warmer ?

I don't like the brick or the the dark cabinets. How do you clean the brick from daily kitchen grime? I've had dark cabinets in kitchen and have brighten it up antique white paint and ceramic tile around stove. All things that can be wiped down when necessary.

The cabinets need to be a bit brighter, and the master bedroom definitely needs to be en-suite. It would be to have this much space; my caregiver, and two cats and I would be comfortable

No pantry, and the space for the refrigerator is too small. Also, traditionally the sink,stove and fridge are in a triangle pattern for efficiency. The fridge is too far,and not conducive to serious cooking. Laundry is too big. Use stackables, shift TOA outside wall for venting, and you might be able to squeeze in a pantry. Where are the utilities? They are ALWAYS overlooked, and every house has them! Ridiculous oversight.

Dining room has all the charm of a conference room, and the kitchen was designed by a non-cook. The layout is awkward and inefficient. As a former professional I would have the whole thing ripped out! Counter space is space too, and too broken up. Just awful! And it needs a pantry.
