Tips!!: You must be an advanced beginner to do this project. 😉 If you don’t have stitch markers, you can use paper clips! 👍 You can use play-back speed in your settings, to slow down the video or speed it up! 😲 This is recommended to be crocheted with thick (plush/velvet/fluffy) yarn. Only have one gripe and its that it wasnt instructed to add the eyes during the head creation process, a beginner may not realize that would need to be done then, other than that this is a great beginners pattern and works up quickly. Good practice for those learning the magic circle.

What kind of eyes do you use? The Amigurimi safety eyes I have can’t easily be put on after you’ve already sewn the neck closed. I’d have to finish the head/neck, then attach the eyes, then sew the neck closed. (And then later I’d attach the head to the shell just like you did in the tutorial). It’d be nice to be able to put on eyes without needing access to the inside of the work to secure the eyes.

Sadly this was really hard for me to make, the BLO part is very confusing, it is barely even mentioned that you have to turn the turtle shell inside out and then back, if I did BLO the turtle body wasn't "inside" the shell but it was like a continuos color change, so I had to struggle and search for a random loop when the shell was inside out, could barely see anything. I managed to make it look somehow after undoing almost everything 5 times in a row but it is still visible that something is off. It is such a beautiful pattern tho :( ❤️
