Thanks for the educative tutorial on Google Ads. I now understand the strategic tricks of using Ads campaigns and how to budget. I would like to know why we need to pay for monthly subscriptions and bidding on top?

Not sure what 'monthly subscriptions' come in.... You have a daily budget and then you pay per click - The budget is the max you'll pay per day.

good video, noticed I have a campaign that I dont want to target the broadest version of the keyword. ficticious example if i wanted to target "buy a brand new audi", but then in my search query report google is showing me for just 'audi' how do I negative that out whilst not affecting the initial keyphrase targeting i do want? would you exact match negative? e.g. [audi] and would that not affect "buy a brand new audi"

You would not want to use 'Audi' as a negative keyword. The phrase would need to be set as phrase and exact match. If you see that you are showing up for just the 'Audi' keyword then you can try adding [Audi] as a negative but I would only go that far after seeing the search terms report.... It's a delegate balance; great question!

Quick question Jason. Are all the manually controlled campaigns going away this July with Performance Max?

You still have the ability to set max bids; it's just going to be harder to control your costs and you can now only use responsive search ads

Setting up dynamic tracking like that is something you'll want to hire someone for. You can look up 'GA4 Events for Google Ads' if you want to dig into the data layer yourself
