She doesn’t earn big bucks. She tries to make it look like she’s rich, but in Russia it’s known that she is a grifter and tries to make money selling courses. After American’s bloggers and teachers Exposures she failed in selling English courses. That’s why now she tries to sell courses about how to become rich. Some Russian bloggers made investigations about her new courses and it looks like in USA there is no any success therefore she tries to warmup her audience in Russia, because only they watch her.

Oddly enough Marina's way is the path to fluency. At one point just speak and forget about grammar, precise vocabulary and pronunciation. It's called ingraining an English department in your brain. Postponing the Speaking part until you reach perfection is the most common obstacle to fast fluency. It doesn't matter if you sound liké Schwarzenegger or Jackie Chan. Just speak. You'll get laughed at, at first, but at least it won't take you a lifetime to reach fluency.

Yes, don’t think we need the language police - if it falls out of favor you’ll hear it less frequently over time. I use expressions from my parents and grandparents all the time and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. I might refrain from language like this in a job interview, but perhaps not. As with any idiom, you just have to read the room.

I disagree with the idea not to use the idiom 'raining cats and dogs'. It brightens up the speech and makes you sound interesting. This trend 'don't say...' , 'we never use...' is at least strange because the language is not limited with SOME people and the way THEY use the language. It is always up to you to use this or that idiom/expression or not. Don't listen to other people.
