Avoid mistakes: String your tennis racket like a pro

I didn't like leaving the starting clamp until the end. I would have tied the knot after the second string was in. However, I am a new stringer. 🤣I just bought my Prince P-200 for a great deal and done only 1 racket. It went well, not 3 hours thank god. It took me about 1 hour or so. hardest part was just to figure out where and how to begin each side, knots position etc.

While you pull tension on the string, you can hold with one hand upon the side u pull. Takes out the swings which u need to correct in the end and keeps tension high. Nice stringing job btw!

Nice cams!! Your side supports look really worn!! You can tell many rackest strung on the machine!!! Ever thought of pulling your first 2 mains on each sice and then just pulling 1? I think you spin your machine 15 times, if you pull your first 2 on each side that is 4 spins, then each main on then another 6 spins, so that would be 10 instead of 15? I think you rock your knot to get the slack out of the string coming through the grommet, I dont think it is necessary to rock it on your second pull becauce you are only cinching the knot. Since your first knot from your first pull locks your knot, when you rock it up and down on your second pull does nothing since it is already locked. I noticed you kinda straightened out your first 3 crosses and the rest of your crosses have a slight rainbow, and towards the end you were not straightening after you pulled, just forgot? I guess an electronic machine is more helpful to get the strings straighter with the constant pull function. You tie your bottom cross to your cross, is there a reason why you tie your top cross to the main instead of the cross as well, I think most professional racket stringers tie the crosses on the cross. Thanks for the tips😀 Good eye, you are correct about that the side mounts are worn. Looking for new ones or just upgrade the machine, if I can find any cheap one that looks good. Back in the days, I did 2 at a time on the mains. But, I like to get it perfect so that’s why I do one at a time. However it happens that I string my own racket the other way if I’m short of time. I tried to start on the second today for the crosses, and I liked it. It was actually very smooth. Thanks for the tip! 😀

​@@broddfelt not sure if maybe the Gamma machines might be similar to the white pieces of your supports, they look similar.
