People who are looking for single family homes with lots of space between houses would be better off further in the suburbs. When I worked in Crystal City, I was one of the few people who lived close. Most folks came from far away suburbs in Virginia and Maryland. I'm more of an urban person, and take the bus-Metro into DC at least once a week to do a museum, show or just walk around. It never gets old. I also love being so close to DCA, and now I can even take the Metro all the way out to Dulles, instead of spending a lot for a taxi or uber. Also, it's convenient to go to Union Station or Alexandria to ride Amtrak. So, it depends on what people think is important.

I see nothing in the video about South Arlington, which is not the same as where the shots are all taken...Courthouse area. Construction has been constant since 2008 in terms of building high rise apartment buildings or condos along the Columbia Pike corridor. There are commercial spaces on the ground floor, but in many instances, they remain empty. The latest example is the Westmont on Glebe and the Pike, opened last year for people to move in. They built space for a grocery store, but no one has moved in. You can see the boxes for the shelving units, collecting dust after a year Such a waste of space and poor planning on the County's part.

That video should be re-named ( Why you should move to Arlington )
