sorry you have to deal with that deadmf, my sister was a huge narcissist so i know how it feels. Best advice i can give is to simply work around them or to treat them as what they literally are, that being a problem, rather than as a person. There's no communicating with a narcissist, you just gotta work around them.

You cant reason with them. I dealt with them and its like talking to a wall. A former friend I knew kept gaslighting and guilt tripping me and bringing me along in his drama. Everything you say they will deflect it. Yes. The only way to "win" against a narcissist is to escape their clutch, cut ties with them, and don't fall for their apparent kindness when they see you are cutting them off (I did this mistake, and the very next day she once again showed her true colors; that was it). You can lose many years or even your entire life to these people. And I know life is mostly pointless outside of trying to reduce the suffering of people you care about, but these monsters will make your life hell for many, many years, and you won't even be able to control even the slightest bit of your life because the narcissist will be in full control. Run away as soon as you can.
