Avoid these girls scam in Shanghai, China 🇨🇳
In this video i will show you one of the most beautiful place in shanghai 'The Bund' and East Nanjing road, Shanghai, which is longest shopping street in the ASIA.
As it is a tourist place and every day around one Million people visit this place everyday i bumped into some scammers in Shanghai but luckily i got rid of it because i have already watched some videos about it before.

Good to point out scams! There are too many videos who keep saying China is very safe, which is true, when compared to similar tourist places around the world. However one still need to be discreet as a tourist in another country, since they are the primary targets for scammers.

The first girl , She said something like “by talking to you to improve my English…..”, according the story you heard , charge a lot of money for drink , maybe you can also point out which bar or restaurant, some place in Shanghai can be really expensive , if it really a crime just call the policy , China always has stricter rules for any kind crime , not saying Shanghai is zero crime, but not to over react , of course be cautious is always good thing

When you go to that bar where the girls ask them. Simply ask for the menu and see the prices. I got scammed in seoul at one of the street food places, got some fried rice and a beer and cost me 150$, because i didn’t ask for the price. I was a foreigner and that was that 😢

Scams is everywhere around the world and at least there are no card skimming scam in china or less since everyone is using their phones for payment, here in the west LOL.

These scams have been going on in Shanghai for years. In fact it was worse before compared to now. It's been cleaned up a lot. Just one simple rule really. Don't go to the tea shop / bar of THEIR choice. If you do find one of them cute and want to chat with them, make sure YOU choose the place, preferably a big chain like a Starbucks or McDonalds - something easy with plenty of people around. If they don't agree then you walk away, simple. As long as you're in control and it's on your terms, then you won't have any nasty surprises.

I always tell foreign tourist to watch out for people approaching them with English on Chinese street. It's not a Chinese culture to offer help to people who are not in dire need or make friends with strangers for no reason.
