The serratus is a key muscle for shoulder health, postural positioning, and proper scapular movement.
That said, it can be annoyingly difficult to find 🥲
So PTs and movement professionals throw these wall slide exercises to “activate” the muscle
But unfortunately, let their client or patient butcher the movement by…
1) Extending the low back and posteriorly orienting the ribcage
Or
2) Not finding true scapular protraction (lots of upper traps or pecs kicking in)
