Ashland is a second rate town with a lowly ranked SOU college. Mediocre Shakespeare Festival, and the residents think their town is the cultural Mecca of Oregon. Looked there when I moved up from San Francisco. Too pretentious for me. 😂😂😂 😂😂Central Pointe is much nicer. I bought in East Medford. Perfect community.

Do they have great clean apartments.. condos ... ? I'm a single woman 57 now. I can't afford a house but taking care of my Dad now. Any recommendations?

By cj do you mean cave junction? If so the company I work for purchased about 300 acres in 16 different parcels. All bare land. Plan is to develop it into single family as well as 16 to 20 unit apartments.

@@hey_youtubeim_back2159 I'd invest in a better supermarket than shop smart then. Grocery Outlet is great, but shop smart is grossly over pricing. We have no DMV any longer and from what I've heard they want to shutter our post office too.

Looks like Glendale is a lot more affordable than the places you mention, any ideas if that's a good place to move to? Also, it seems like the Rogue valley has a ton of wildfire smoke these days- I check Purple air website a lot.

Yes ! Here on the Oregon Coast small rural towns are conservative, Elders/Seniors just don't want to admit the demographics are changing to make Oregon Great again. We are in Florence and love the town and community !

There are a lot of us conservatives in Oregon, but the weird ones in Portland make it seem like the whole state is blue. Extremely frustrating.
