I prefer the smaller diamond wedding band that's close in size to the shank of the engagement ring. The larger widths compete with the engagement ring and take away from it's amazing look. The plain gold band looks out of place to my eye, so I wouldn't consider that at all. I do have a plain 4mm yellow gold band that I wear around the house when I'm doing things that might damage my set, but I don't like it with that amazing engagement ring. The French pave band at 2:11 or the East-West Emerald cut style 2247 at 2:23 to me are perfection!

I think my favourite band with it is the yellow gold band. But I’d also want the east west emerald or just a small round cut band to wear when going out to special occasions or to even wear the two bands together when I didn’t want to wear the engagement ring. So beautiful

Love your videos Bonnie! We have 2.4mm side stones I want to use as pavé side stones for my ER. What size will that make the ring with the metal. Worried it may be a little too thick. My center stone is a 2.38 carat antique cushion cut. 1.08 ish ratio. Maybe I need to get slightly smaller stones for the pavé. Thinking I’ll do N/S orientation not E/W, but I’m indecisive

Diamonds are stronger than the metals used on your bands. So I guess a u-gallery pave may result in the diamond scratching the band if it's a simple band?

I can't speak for who is purchasing these rings but more people are getting lab diamond rings. Bigger carat for less cash. Both are beautiful though and you can't tell the difference!
