Just an Honest Comment from a foreingner. Im Currently in SP and I've been to many cities all over the world, let me tell that SP is problably one of the cleanest safest cities I've been to. In every country and city there are always dangerous/ poorer places.

You were close to the 25 de março street, that place is madness, you can find anything to buy there, lots of immigrants there too, chinese, bolivians, angolans, bangladeshi, senegalese, etc

Don't know why you called these streets naughty. They are certainly not very safe. And there is probably naughtiness inside some of these old buildings. But it is not in your face. Some places in the UK can be equally scary. Difference is in Brazil your life has little value.

Hi. Visit Faria Lima avenue, Berrini Avenue, Vila Olímpia, Vila Madalena, Pinheiros. They are safe and modern areas. Would you like a nice and modern view? Terraza Roof Top. They speak english there. SP is diverse. You have many cities inside one city. Research nice places and enjoy them.
