I've read that there are 3 stages of motivation. The lowest is the desire for Heaven. 2nd is the Fear of Hell. The highest is the love for Allah SWT.

When I was attending my weekly fiqh lessons at the age of 11 or 12, I was one of the those who had to answer a question by my religious teacher. If you are in a boat with three other people on board with a bag of a 10kg rice or wheat which includes the boatman, what must one do when the boat sustains a hole at the bottom necessitating the need to reduce some considerable weight in order to reach the nearby shore safely. The commonsense answer would be to throw into the river the bag of rice or wheat and safe the lives of the rest on board. But according to fiqh rulings, one must determine as to who among those on board was not discharging the religious obligation of fulfilling his/her obligatory salaat (prayer). The one who is guilty of not saying his/her salaat (other than a child or an old person) should be thrown into the river. This reveals the importance of saying our daily obligatory salaat. A bag of rice can feed hungry/needy people whereas the one who does not say the obligatory prayer is of no use to anyone, including himself. This lesson shows the importance of SALAAT (the obligatory prayers) in Islam.

@ Jaffar540 Salaam! Whomever Allah guides no one can lead astray, and whomever Allah leaves astray no one can ever guide! These are the words of Rasulullah (SAAW) in the khutba ta haja! The Quran gave a better criteria for how to decide the matter in the story about Prophet Yunus(A.S.) when the ship was over weight in the storm and they drew lots in order to decide who would go overboard and the Prophet Yunus(A.S.) lost and was thrown overboard.

People teaching Islam in the west need to teach aspects of prayers in details, to-dos, dont-do's, all aspects covered, just putting up a thumbnail with warnings and creating a craze is not a good way of getting a point across to the listeners. May Allah guide and help us all. Ameen

You just have to take it off for wadu. But the problem is that if you die with the nail polish still on your nails then you can't remove it so it's a problem. These days they're making gel like nail polish that comes off like a sticker but I'm not sure if it comes off of a dead person.

Use Nail Polish is halal (of course as long as you use halal ingredients, isn't beautifying yourself for something or someone that is forbidden, etc.), but must be removed during Wudhu; So, as not to prevent the nails from being washed with Wudhu water. That's what was meant. As long as you, my Sister, can be careful and do that then it's okay. In further matters, regarding death and so on, it is the obligation of the family and living brothers and sisters (and Muslims and/or Muslim women) to complete "the Wudhu & Bathing" of the Mayit.

There is no sin greater than Allah's mercy and forgiveness. Did not Allah say that I have made your religion easy for you. Read it in the Noble Qur'an. Yet these people want to send you to burn in hell forever if your heel is not wet or you have nail polish while doing wudu.

it's just as crucial as dying as a disbeliever despite living majority as a believer the present matters a lot as they pray as if it could be the last day of their life they pray as part of example of Prophet SAW what standards do you think people will have if the messenger of Allah SWT did not correct them do you not think they are relieved that the Prophet SAW guided them before they pray these people convey the message and not a controller like the Prophet SAW only Allah SWT is the Master of Day of Judgement.
