I say read his comment again and very thoroughly. The Arabic Mushaf is the most provided one and read one, because it is made in Saudi Arabia, plus I find it very helpful because it has guides on all the syntax and the punctuation used, which guides the reader to good tajweed. By the time i began using the Arabic mushaf exclusively, which is my favorite, applying tajweed rules was a beeeze because I already knew many of the basic rules from my early experience. Now, I can only read Arabic mushaf and still still struggling in Urdu mushaf. Im marrying a lovely Indonesian woman but her story is opposite of me. She only can read Urdu mushaf but unable to read Arabic mushaf😂. We laugh at each other when we read other mushaf and unable to read properly and thinking we are bad on reading Quran... My mom... My mom is a beast of her own. She is VERY fluent on both mushaf. Alhamdulillah this yeah she and my dad able to perform Hajj. When she at Mecca and Madina about almost 2 month, my mom able to khatam 3 times... Now, all what I want to do and to be is become better reciter and memorizer than my mom. For the Turkish mushaf you are showing and talking about, that mushaf is specifically written in Hüsrev style (which is a writing style, with different spacings and writing so there is tawafuq- you can search it). Most of the other types of Turkish mushafs have a clearer writing style with good spacing from what I have seen.

The Turkish mushaf whose writings were shown in the video is not the same with the one whose cover is shown. Those writings come from a very specific mushaf that revealed a new and totally apparent mu'jizah of Quran that is about tawafuq in the last century. It is written by Ahmed Hüsrev Altınbaşak and all names of Allah written in that mushaf are either in the same line, row, back to back or front to front. There are also many more different types of examples of tawafuq in that mushaf. This is the reason why there are words written in red or other colours in that mushaf. The original copies of that mushaf is currently being published by Hayrat Neşriyat if you are interested. You can also find this mushaf online if you just search Hayrat Kuran oku.

I'm from Malaysia, and when I was little, the mushafs available here are mainly written in urdu-like word. We call it Majeed Mushaf. It was very difficult to read it. But since 20 years ago, the Arabic mushafs have flooded the market and it's very easy to read it after you learn the rules on how to read it (transition from the old mushaf). Now, it's hard to find the old mushaf. You can only find old copies of it in some of the masjid, because there are some older generation still reading it but it's kinda impossible to find it selling now in the bookstores.
@spartanbeast3575 Жыл бұрын
I learned with the Arabic script, but the Urdu script is easy for me to read simply because I would sometimes use that mushaf while in the masjid. At first it seemed almost impossible to read it, but if you start with surahs you're very familiar with, it's actually very easy. Then you catch on to the rest in a flash. Alhamdulillah I have read the Qur'an from front to back 15 times, and some surahs many more times than that, so the Turkish script also didn't seem hard to me despite never having seen it before, simply because the ayah provided in the video is sort of like muscle memory for me.

I'm from Malaysia too and able to read Arabic and Urdu mushaf without issue. I love both Quran Kareem (arabic mushaf) and Quran Majeed (urdu mushaf). Both are the same Quran after all but for me it's a different feeling when read between those two. But it's sad that the government here banned urdhu mushaf in the market about 20 years ago. That's why you cannot find urdu mushaf in the Malaysia market nowadays. The ban is more because of money profit and controlling the market rather than to make it as a formality in our community. However urdu mushaf is still available under black market. I mean it still can be found but it's hard and limited. 😢 So sad, even Quran Mushaf has to go into black market during this akhiru zaman like it's a haram thing. Both mushaf have to be kept free in the market as it contains different specialities and characteristics and has to be mastered by muslims.

One of the main reasons, which you missed out is that most of the Urdu mushaf don't end the ayah at the end of every page. The ayah would continue ont the next page. As for the Arabic I found it easier to memorize as the ayah always completed on end of every page. I advise slot of my friends to switch to Arabic mushaf because of that and availability.

I also use the arabic Mushaf and I recommand it also for beginners. But the modern turkish mushaf is not that bad either. Most turkish Mushafs are well-spaced between words (compared to the old version). And the Madd Sila is also not that big of a problem, because it is a simple rule. If the letter before the "ha" has a haraka than the ha is prolonged. With the exception of connecting it with the next word, in which case even a madd Tabii becomes short. Rare exeptions like fîhî in suratul Furqan are marked. But for someone who doesn't speak arabic it is impossible to distinguish between hamza qat' and wasl. For example: In Fatiha the "a" is dropped, if you connect the basmala with "alhamdu", because it is wasl. In at-takathur it looks the same in the turkish mushaf but it is qat' and you cant drop the "a".

i used to use a urdu mushaf, also known as indo-pak for around 5-6 years until i switched to arabic to memoize quran in a class in which they only had arabic. I'm proficent in both and know tajweed rules by heart not by knowledge soo for the turkish mushaf i know i would be second checking myself. I personally recommend Arabic for new people but urdu is something you should know if you plan to go to india or pakistain (pakistain zindabad) as they dont even know arabic mushafs over there.

Im using arabic, cause its easier to read, and the paper is not dusty and not making me sneeze(ing). Also sometime its easier to search for surah

I am an Arab and find the Urdu one much easier to use than the Arabic one. But for anyone involved with Quran then both should be accessible. Urdu Quran differentiate between madd better, Nun Qutni is easier.

I'd like to tell you something that you maybe are unaware of, in the urdu mushaf there's also a tajweedi Quran and that has colors, it really helped me as a beginner in tajweed.

I use the arabic one.. alhamduillah, it is more relevant with ahkaamut tajwid

Yes, this is correct in Indonesia before there is only Urdu style. This is very difficult to read for beginners especially with the letter writing style. Confusing and difficult if you want to read yourself when still learning. Luckily, alhamdulillah the Arabic mushaf now becomes accessible and abundant. Alhamdulillah now I see a lot of children pick it up easily.

As an Indian, I started learning Quran from a madrasa here and the mushaf widely available is obviously 'Urdu' but I don't find it difficult to read from Arabic one, now I planning to practice and stick to Arabic mus'haf.

I'm ethically Pakistani so grew uplewrning from and using the urdu mus-haf but when I was blessed to go through a tajweed crash course with my beloved teacher (may الله bless him in this life and in the akhira, ameen) I asked him if I should continue with my urdu mus-haf or change to the Arabic one. His told me that it was up to me but he would recommend the Arabic one (I also asked if I should get the colour codes tajweed mus-haf and he suggested not to). I took his advice and got myself an Arabic mus-haf with no colour coded text and AlHamdulillah I've been blessed to learn so much since and when I look at an urdu one now, it feels strange. It's been more than 1p years since I d done my tajweed course AlHamdulillah. However, as the teacher in the video said, it will be different for different people. Main thing is that you're reading with correct tajweed and not leaning your mus-haf on the shelf (and only taking it down in Ramadan).

I am an Egyptian, and of course reading the Arabic Mus'hsf. But I'm deeply affected by the comments of the brothers and sisters here, we all read the same words in the same letters across the continents and along the centuries! Any non-muslim who see this video and read these comments will be astonished by the accuracy of this Glorious Book.

I have learned to read from both and I would say the opposite is true. The Arabic one provides much more assistance in terms of applying tajweed rules than the subcontinent one.

I’m grew up reading Urdu text as I’m an Indian - American Muslim and my parents grew up in India. As I got older though I learned how to read Arabic and can read both. I didn’t know about the small noon in the Urdu mushaf as I haven’t completed all my tajweed yet.
