One tip to love Quran: Pick a Surah (chapter). Then live with it for a period of time. Start by: - Pick a Surah that relates to you and your circumstances at this time - listen to its recitation very often until your subconscious repeats it all the time - then learn about its tafsir (start with Almoyassar) - Memorize it - listen or read some one who explains it deeply (e.g. Dr. Ahmad Abdulmonem lessons, or Maarej Al-Tafakkur book) - Extract actions to your self from that Surah so you start reflecting and applying what you learned - Pray Qiyam (night prayer) and read it during the prayer - When you love something you talk about it too often. Spread the knowledge and teach your brothers what you learned Continue on that for a month or two and you will love that Surah. Repeat the process for any Surah you want to love

Signs that you love the Qur'an 1. You put effort in learning to recite the Qur'an 2. You rejoice (naturally feel excited/happy) when you open the Qur'an 3. You spend a lot of time with it 4. You feel anxious to get back to the Qur'an when you miss some time reciting it 5. You refer back to the Qur'an for every circumstances in your life 6. You obey the teachings of the Qur'an Steps to strengthening your relation with the Qur'an: 1. Seek help from Allaah 2. Constantly recite the recommended du'a (link in the description) 3. Stop listening to doubts regarding the Qur'an 4. Learn about the Qur'an, i.e. it's history, value, its transmission, the sacrifices of the pious predecessors 5. Memorize what you can of the Qur'an 6. Learn about the tafsir of the ayah you come across 7. Understand the Qur'an in it's original language: Arabic May Allaah make it easy for you and I, amin.

Step 3 is so important, I used to love to debate and argue with people I would read their nonsense on the internet, even though I didn’t believe them. Yet now whenever I try to read and something doesn’t make sense to me or I reach an ayah they talked about that false allegation comes to mind and it’s annoying having it just pop up. And every time now you have to clear that suspicion. I wish I had seen this advise before

will take your method for mysel. I usually read two to three rukooh but can't keep it consistent, so yeah, keeping it short will probably make it easier for me to read Qur'an. P.S. a good username.

@@FreeINNOCENTPalestine yes, short and consistent is better than long and inconsistent, I usually read from long and medium sized passages, but when I am really busy or the circumstances dont allow it, I try to recite short Surahs to fill the daily quota, also reading Surahs you like or understand first really helps, and May Allah make it easy for us to read Quran and learn it, also thanks lol

I read Quran every single morning, and I usually understand most of the ayat as I have been blessed with an amazing Muslim school where all the children are taught Arabic. However, what I feel like I lack is the Tafsir and deeper relation with each ayah. Within that one hour which I read the Quran, I only do memorization and revision, and I end up not having time for Tafsir, which I now realize is very important to gain that greater understanding and knowledge.

Jazakallah khair ustadh. Sorry for nitpicking but I think for the point mentioned around 3:00 "#6 obey the Qur'an" there should've been a mention that we use the Qur'an as guidance and obey it in light of the Sunnah of the Prophet Salalahu Aleyhi waSalam and the understanding of a-Salaf a-Salih.

ادعوا كتير النهارده وبكرة قبل ما ترفع الاعمال *دي كل الادعية اللي ف المصحف وكمان مرتبه ﺣﺴﺐ ﺗﺮﺗﻴﺐ ﺍﻟﻤﺼﺤﻒ ﺍﻟﺸﺮﻳﻒ. اجعلها صدقة جارية 1- ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﺗﻘﺒﻞ ﻣﻨﺎ ﺇﻧﻚ ﺃﻧﺖ ﺍﻟﺴﻤﻴﻊ ﺍﻟﻌﻠﻴﻢ، ﻭﺗﺐ ﻋﻠﻴﻨﺎ ﺇﻧﻚ ﺃﻧﺖ ﺍﻟﺘﻮﺍﺏ ﺍﻟﺮﺣﻴﻢ. 2- ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﺁﺗﻨﺎ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻟﺪﻧﻴﺎ ﺣﺴﻨﺔ ﻭﻓﻲ ﺍﻵﺧﺮﺓ ﺣﺴﻨﺔ ﻭﻗﻨﺎ ﻋﺬﺍﺏ ﺍﻟﻨﺎﺭ. 3- ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﺃﻓﺮﻍ ﻋﻠﻴﻨﺎ ﺻﺒﺮﺍ ﻭﺛﺒﺖ ﺃﻗﺪﺍﻣﻨﺎ ﻭﺍﻧﺼﺮﻧﺎ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻘﻮﻡ ﺍﻟﻜﺎﻓﺮﻳﻦ. 4- ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﻻ ﺗﺆﺍﺧﺬﻧﺎ ﺇﻥ ﻧﺴﻴﻨﺎ ﺃﻭ ﺃﺧﻄﺎﻧﺎ، ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﻭﻻ ﺗﺤﻤﻞ ﻋﻠﻴﻨﺎ ﺇﺻﺮﺍ ﻛﻤﺎ ﺣﻤﻠﺘﻪ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﺬﻳﻦ ﻣﻦ ﻗﺒﻠﻨﺎ. 5- ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﻭﻻ ﺗﺤﻤﻠﻨﺎ ﻣﺎ ﻻ ﻃﺎﻗﺔ ﻟﻨﺎ ﺑﻪ ﻭﺍﻋﻒ ﻋﻨﺎ ﻭﺍﻏﻔﺮ ﻟﻨﺎ ﻭﺍﺭﺣﻤﻨﺎ ﺃﻧﺖ ﻣﻮﻻﻧﺎ ﻓﺎﻧﺼﺮﻧﺎ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻘﻮﻡ ﺍﻟﻜﺎﻓﺮﻳﻦ. 6- ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﻻ ﺗﺰﻍ ﻗﻠﻮﺑﻨﺎ ﺑﻌﺪ ﺇﺫ ﻫﺪﻳﺘﻨﺎ ﻭﻫﺐ ﻟﻨﺎ ﻣﻦ ﻟﺪﻧﻚ ﺭﺣﻤﺔ ﺇﻧﻚ ﺃﻧﺖ ﺍﻟﻮﻫﺎﺏ. 7- ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﺇﻧﻚ ﺟﺎﻣﻊ ﺍﻟﻨﺎﺱ ﻟﻴﻮﻡ ﻻ ﺭﻳﺐ ﻓﻴﻪ ﺇﻥ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻻ ﻳﺨﻠﻒ ﺍﻟﻤﻴﻌﺎﺩ. 8- ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﺇﻧﻨﺎ ﺁﻣﻨﺎ ﻓﺎﻏﻔﺮ ﻟﻨﺎ ﺫﻧﻮﺑﻨﺎ ﻭﻗﻨﺎ ﻋﺬﺍﺏ ﺍﻟﻨﺎﺭ. 9- ﺭﺏ ﻫﺐ ﻟﻲ ﻣﻦ ﻟﺪﻧﻚ ﺫﺭﻳﺔ ﻃﻴﺒﺔ ﺇﻧﻚ ﺳﻤﻴﻊ ﺍﻟﺪﻋﺎﺀ. 10- ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﺁﻣﻨﺎ ﺑﻤﺎ ﺃﻧﺰﻟﺖ ﻭﺍﺗﺒﻌﻨﺎ ﺍﻟﺮﺳﻮﻝ ﻓﺎﻛﺘﺒﻨﺎ ﻣﻊ ﺍﻟﺸﺎﻫﺪﻳﻦ. 11- ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﺍﻏﻔﺮ ﻟﻨﺎ ﺫﻧﻮﺑﻨﺎ ﻭﺇﺳﺮﺍﻓﻨﺎ ﻓﻲ ﺃﻣﺮﻧﺎ ﻭﺛﺒﺖ ﺃﻗﺪﺍﻣﻨﺎ ﻭﺍﻧﺼﺮﻧﺎ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻘﻮﻡ ﺍﻟﻜﺎﻓﺮﻳﻦ. 12- ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﻣﺎ ﺧﻠﻘﺖ ﻫﺬﺍ ﺑﺎﻃﻼ ﺳﺒﺤﺎﻧﻚ ﻓﻘﻨﺎ ﻋﺬﺍﺏ ﺍﻟﻨﺎﺭ. 13- ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﺇﻧﻚ ﻣﻦ ﺗﺪﺧﻞ ﺍﻟﻨﺎﺭ ﻓﻘﺪ ﺃﺧﺰﻳﺘﻪ ﻭﻣﺎ ﻟﻠﻈﺎﻟﻤﻴﻦ ﻣﻦ ﺃﻧﺼﺎﺭ. 14- ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﺇﻧﻨﺎ ﺳﻤﻌﻨﺎ ﻣﻨﺎﺩﻳﺎ ﻳﻨﺎﺩﻱ ﻟﻺﻳﻤﺎﻥ ﺃﻥ ﺍﻣﻨﻮﺍ ﺑﺮﺑﻜﻢ ﻓﺂﻣﻨﺎ، ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﻓﺎﻏﻔﺮ ﻟﻨﺎ ﺫﻧﻮﺑﻨﺎ ﻭﻛﻔﺮ ﻋﻨﺎ ﺳﻴﺌﺎﺗﻨﺎ ﻭﺗﻮﻓﻨﺎ ﻣﻊ ﺍﻷﺑﺮﺍﺭ. 15- ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﻭﺍﺗﻨﺎ ﻣﺎ ﻭﻋﺪﺗﻨﺎ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺭﺳﻠﻚ ﻭﻻ ﺗﺨﺰﻧﺎ ﻳﻮﻡ ﺍﻟﻘﻴﺎﻣﺔ ﺇﻧﻚ ﻻ ﺗﺨﻠﻒ ﺍﻟﻤﻴﻌﺎﺩ. 16- ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﺃﺧﺮﺟﻨﺎ ﻣﻦ ﻫﺬﻩ ﺍﻟﻘﺮﻳﺔ ﺍﻟﻈﺎﻟﻢ ﺃﻫﻠﻬﺎ ﻭﺍﺟﻌﻞ ﻟﻨﺎ ﻣﻦ ﻟﺪﻧﻚ ﻭﻟﻴﺎ ﻭﺍﺟﻌﻞ ﻟﻨﺎ ﻣﻦ ﻟﺪﻧﻚ ﻧﺼﻴﺮﺍ. 17- ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﻇﻠﻤﻨﺎ ﺃﻧﻔﺴﻨﺎ ﻭﺍﻥ ﻟﻢ ﺗﻐﻔﺮ ﻟﻨﺎ ﻭﺗﺮﺣﻤﻨﺎ ﻟﻨﻜﻮﻧﻦ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻟﺨﺎﺳﺮﻳﻦ 18- ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﺍﻓﺘﺢ ﺑﻴﻨﻨﺎ ﻭﺑﻴﻦ ﻗﻮﻣﻨﺎ ﺑﺎﻟﺤﻖ ﻭﺃﻧﺖ ﺧﻴﺮ ﺍﻟﻔﺎﺗﺤﻴﻦ. 19- ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﺍﻓﺮﻍ ﻋﻠﻴﻨﺎ ﺻﺒﺮﺍ ﻭﺗﻮﻓﻨﺎ ﻣﺴﻠﻤﻴﻦ، ﺃﻧﺖ ﻭﻟﻴﻨﺎ ﻓﺎﻏﻔﺮ ﻟﻨﺎ ﻭﺍﺭﺣﻤﻨﺎ ﻭﺃﻧﺖ ﺧﻴﺮ ﺍﻟﻐﺎﻓﺮﻳﻦ. 20- ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﻻ ﺗﺠﻌﻠﻨﺎ ﻓﺘﻨﺔ ﻟﻠﻘﻮﻡ ﺍﻟﻈﺎﻟﻤﻴﻦ ﻭﻧﺠﻨﺎ ﺑﺮﺣﻤﺘﻚ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻟﻘﻮﻡ ﺍﻟﻜﺎﻓﺮﻳﻦ. 21- ﺭﺏ ﺇﻧﻲ ﺃﻋﻮﺫ ﺑﻚ ﺃﻥ ﺃﺳﺎﻟﻚ ﻣﺎ ﻟﻴﺲ ﻟﻲ ﺑﻪ ﻋﻠﻢ ﻭﺇﻻ ﺗﻐﻔﺮ ﻟﻲ ﻭﺗﺮﺣﻤﻨﻲ ﺃﻛﻦ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻟﺨﺎﺳﺮﻳﻦ. 22- ﺭﺏ ﺃﻧﺖ ﻭﻟﻴﻲ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻟﺪﻧﻴﺎ ﻭﺍﻵﺧﺮﺓ ﺗﻮﻓﻨﻲ ﻣﺴﻠﻤﺎ ﻭﺃﻟﺤﻘﻨﻲ ﺑﺎﻟﺼﺎﻟﺤﻴﻦ. 23- ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﺇﻧﻚ ﺗﻌﻠﻢ ﻣﺎ ﻧﺨﻔﻲ ﻭﻣﺎ ﻧﻌﻠﻦ ﻭﻣﺎ يخفى ﻋﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻣﻦ ﺷﻲﺀ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻷﺭﺽ ﻭﻻ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻟﺴﻤﺎﺀ. 24- ﺭﺏ ﺍﺟﻌﻠﻨﻲ ﻣﻘﻴﻢ ﺍﻟﺼﻼﺓ ﻭﻣﻦ ﺫﺭﻳﺘﻲ ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﻭﺗﻘﺒﻞ ﺩﻋﺎﺀ، ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﺍﻏﻔﺮ ﻟﻲ ﻭﻟﻮﺍﻟﺪﻱ ﻭﻟﻠﻤﺆﻣﻨﻴﻦ ﻳﻮﻡ ﻳﻘﻮﻡ ﺍﻟﺤﺴﺎﺏ 25- ﺭﺏ ﺃﺩﺧﻠﻨﻲ ﻣﺪﺧﻞ ﺻﺪﻕ ﻭﺃﺧﺮﺟﻨﻲ ﻣﺨﺮﺝ ﺻﺪﻕ ﻭﺍﺟﻌﻞ ﻟﻲ ﻣﻦ ﻟﺪﻧﻚ ﺳﻠﻄﺎﻧﺎ ﻧﺼﻴﺮﺍ. 26- ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﺁﺗﻨﺎ ﻣﻦ ﻟﺪﻧﻚ ﺭﺣﻤﺔ ﻭﻫﻴﺊ ﻟﻨﺎ ﻣﻦ ﺃﻣﺮﻧﺎ ﺭﺷﺪﺍ، ﺭﺏ ﺇﻧﻲ ﻭﻫﻦ ﺍﻟﻌﻈﻢ ﻣﻨﻰ ﻭﺍﺷﺘﻌﻞ ﺍﻟﺮﺃﺱ ﺷﻴﺒﺎ ﻭﻟﻢ ﺃﻛﻦ ﺑﺪﻋﺎﺋﻚ ﺭﺏ ﺷﻘﻴﺎ. 27- ﺭﺏ ﺍﺷﺮﺡ ﻟﻲ ﺻﺪﺭﻱ ﻭﻳﺴﺮ ﻟﻲ ﺃﻣﺮﻱ ﻭﺍﺣﻠﻞ ﻋﻘﺪﺓ ﻣﻦ ﻟﺴﺎﻧﻲ ﻳﻔﻘﻬﻮﺍ ﻗﻮﻟﻲ، ﺭﺏ ﺯﺩﻧﻲ ﻋﻠﻤﺎ. 28- ﻻ ﺍﻟﻪ ﺇﻻ ﺃﻧﺖ ﺳﺒﺤﺎﻧﻚ ﺇﻧﻲ ﻛﻨﺖ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻟﻈﺎﻟﻤﻴﻦ. 29- ﺭﺏ ﻻ ﺗﺬﺭﻧﻲ ﻓﺮﺩﺍ ﻭﺃﻧﺖ ﺧﻴﺮ ﺍﻟﻮﺍﺭﺛﻴﻦ. 30- ﺃﻧﻲ ﻣﺴﻨﻲ ﺍﻟﻀﺮ ﻭﺃﻧﺖ ﺍﺭﺣﻢ ﺍﻟﺮﺍﺣﻤﻴﻦ. 31- ﺭﺏ ﺃﻧﺰﻟﻨﻲ ﻣﻨﺰﻻ ﻣﺒﺎﺭﻛﺎ ﻭﺃﻧﺖ ﺧﻴﺮ ﺍﻟﻤﻨﺰﻟﻴﻦ. 32- ﺭﺏ ﺃﻋﻮﺫ ﺑﻚ ﻣﻦ ﻫﻤﺰﺍﺕ ﺍﻟﺸﻴﺎﻃﻴﻦ ﻭﺃﻋﻮﺫ ﺑﻚ ﺭﺏ ﺃﻥ ﻳﺤﻀﺮﻭﻥ. 33- ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﺁﻣﻨﺎ ﻓﺎﻏﻔﺮ ﻟﻨﺎ ﻭﺍﺭﺣﻤﻨﺎ ﻭﺃﻧﺖ ﺧﻴﺮ ﺍﻟﺮﺍﺣﻤﻴﻦ. 34- ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﺍﺻﺮﻑ ﻋﻨﺎ ﻋﺬﺍﺏ ﺟﻬﻨﻢ ﺇﻥ ﻋﺬﺍﺑﻬﺎ ﻛﺎﻥ ﻏﺮﺍﻣﺎ ﺇﻧﻬﺎ ﺳﺎﺀﺕ ﻣﺴﺘﻘﺮﺍ ﻭﻣﻘﺎﻣﺎ. 35- ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﻫﺐ ﻟﻨﺎ ﻣﻦ ﺃﺯﻭﺍﺟﻨﺎ ﻭﺫﺭﻳﺎﺗﻨﺎ ﻗﺮﺓ ﺃﻋﻴﻦ ﻭﺍﺟﻌﻠﻨﺎ ﻟﻠﻤﺘﻘﻴﻦ ﺇﻣﺎﻣﺎ. 36- ﺭﺏ ﻫﺐ ﻟﻲ ﺣﻜﻤﺎ ﻭﺍﻟﺤﻘﻨﻰ ﺑﺎﻟﺼﺎﻟﺤﻴﻦ ﻭﺍﺟﻌﻞ ﻟﻲ ﻟﺴﺎﻥ ﺻﺪﻕ ﻓﻲ. ﺍﻵﺧﺮﻳﻦ ﻭﺍﺟﻌﻠﻨﻲ ﻣﻦ ﻭﺭﺛﺔ ﺟﻨﺔ ﺍﻟﻨﻌﻴﻢ ﻭﻻ ﺗﺨﺰﻧﻲ ﻳﻮﻡ ﻳﺒﻌﺜﻮﻥ ﻳﻮﻡ ﻻ ﻳﻨﻔﻊ ﻣﺎﻝ ﻭﻻ ﺑﻨﻮﻥ ﺇﻻ ﻣﻦ ﺃﺗﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﺑﻘﻠﺐ ﺳﻠﻴﻢ. 37- ﺭﺏ ﻧﺠﻨﻲ ﻭﺃﻫﻠﻲ ﻣﻤﺎ ﻳﻌﻤﻠﻮﻥ. 38- ﺭﺏ ﺃﻭﺯﻋﻨﻲ ﺃﻥ ﺍﺷﻜﺮ ﻧﻌﻤﺘﻚ ﺍﻟﺘﻲ ﺃﻧﻌﻤﺖ ﻋﻠﻰ ﻭﻋﻠﻰ ﻭﺍﻟﺪﻱ ﻭﺍﻥ ﺍﻋﻤﻞ ﺻﺎﻟﺤﺎ ﺗﺮﺿﺎﻩ ﻭﺍﺩﺧﻠﻨﻰ ﺑﺮﺣﻤﺘﻚ ﻓﻲ ﻋﺒﺎﺩﻙ ﺍﻟﺼﺎﻟﺤﻴﻦ. 39- ﺭﺏ ﺇﻧﻲ ﻇﻠﻤﺖ ﻧﻔﺴﻲ ﻓﺎﻏﻔﺮ ﻟﻲ، ﺭﺏ ﺍﻧﺼﺮﻧﻲ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻘﻮﻡ ﺍﻟﻤﻔﺴﺪﻳﻦ. 40- ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﻭﺳﻌﺖ ﻛﻞ ﺷﻲﺀ ﺭﺣﻤﺔ ﻭﻋﻠﻤﺎ ﻓﺎﻏﻔﺮ ﻟﻠﺬﻳﻦ ﺗﺎﺑﻮﺍ ﻭﺍﺗﺒﻌﻮﺍ ﺳﺒﻴﻠﻚ ﻭﻗﻬﻢ ﻋﺬﺍﺏ ﺍﻟﺠﺤﻴم 41- ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﻭﺃﺩﺧﻠﻬﻢ ﺟﻨﺎﺕ ﻋﺪﻥ ﺍﻟﺘﻲ ﻭﻋﺪﺗﻬﻢ ﻭﻣﻦ ﺻﻠﺢ ﻣﻦ ﺁﺑﺎﺋﻬﻢ ﻭﺃﺯﻭﺍﺟﻬﻢ ﻭﺫﺭﻳﺎﺗﻬﻢ ﺇﻧﻚ ﺃﻧﺖ ﺍﻟﻌﺰﻳﺰ ﺍﻟﺤﻜﻴﻢ ﻭﻗﻬﻢ ﺍﻟﺴﻴﺌﺎﺕ ﻭﻣﻦ ﺗﻖ ﺍﻟﺴﻴﺌﺎﺕ ﻳﻮﻣﺌﺬ ﻓﻘﺪ ﺭﺣﻤﺘﻪ ﻭﺫﻟﻚ ﻫﻮ ﺍﻟﻔﻮﺯ ﺍﻟﻌﻈﻴﻢ. 42- ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﺍﻛﺸﻒ ﻋﻨﺎ ﺍﻟﻌﺬﺍﺏ ﺇﻧﺎ ﻣﺆﻣﻨﻮﻥ. 43- ﺭﺏ ﺃﻭﺯﻋﻨﻲ ﺃﻥ ﺍﺷﻜﺮ ﻧﻌﻤﺘﻚ التی أنعمت ﻋﻠﻰ ﻭﻋﻠﻰ ﻭﺍﻟﺪﻱ ﻭﺍﻥ ﺍﻋﻤﻞ ﺻﺎﻟﺤﺎ ﺗﺮﺿﺎﻩ ﻭﺃﺻﻠﺢ ﻟﻲ ﻓﻲ ﺫﺭﻳﺘﻲ ﺇﻧﻲ ﺗﺒﺖ ﺇﻟﻴﻚ ﻭﺍﻧﻲ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻟﻤﺴﻠﻤﻴﻦ. 44- ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﺍﻏﻔﺮ ﻟﻨﺎ ﻭﻹﺧﻮﺍﻧﻨﺎ ﺍﻟﺬﻳﻦ ﺳﺒﻘﻮﻧﺎ ﺑﺎﻹﻳﻤﺎﻥ ﻭﻻ ﺗﺠﻌﻞ ﻓﻲ ﻗﻠﻮﺑﻨﺎ ﻏﻼ ﻟﻠﺬﻳﻦ ﺍﻣﻨﻮﺍ. 45- ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﺇﻧﻚ ﺭﺀﻭﻑ ﺭﺣﻴﻢ، ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﻋﻠﻴﻚ ﺗﻮﻛﻠﻨﺎ ﻭﺍﻟﻴﻚ ﺃﻧﺒﻨﺎ ﻭﺍﻟﻴﻚ ﺍﻟﻤﺼﻴﺮ، ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﻻ ﺗﺠﻌﻠﻨﺎ ﻓﺘﻨﺔ ﻟﻠﺬﻳﻦ ﻛﻔﺮﻭﺍ ﻭﺍﻏﻔﺮ ﻟﻨﺎ ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﺇﻧﻚ ﺃﻧﺖ ﺍﻟﻌﺰﻳﺰ ﺍﻟﺤﻜﻴﻢ. 46- ﺭﺑﻨﺎ ﺍﺗﻤﻢ ﻟﻨﺎ ﻧﻮﺭﻧﺎ ﻭﺍﻏﻔﺮ ﻟﻨﺎ ﺇﻧﻚ ﻋﻠﻰ ﻛﻞ ﺷﻲﺀ ﻗﺪﻳﺮ، ﺭﺏ ﺍﺑﻦ ﻟﻲ ﻋﻨﺪﻙ ﺑﻴﺘﺎ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻟﺠﻨﺔ ﻭﻧﺠﻨﻲ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻟﻘﻮﻡ ﺍﻟﻈﺎﻟﻤﻴﻦ. 47- ﺭﺏ ﻻ ﺗﺬﺭ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺍﻷﺭﺽ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻟﻜﺎﻓﺮﻳﻦ ﺩﻳﺎﺭﺍ ﺇﻧﻚ ﺇﻥ ﺗﺬﺭﻫﻢ ﻳﻀﻠﻮﺍ ﻋﺒﺎﺩﻙ ﻭﻻ ﻳﻠﺪﻭﺍ ﺇﻻ ﻓﺎﺟﺮﺍ ﻛﻔﺎﺭا. 48- ﺭﺏ ﺍﻏﻔﺮ ﻟﻲ ﻭﻟﻮﺍﻟﺪﻱ ﻭﻟﻤﻦ ﺩﺧﻞ بﻴﺘﻲ ﻣﺆﻣﻨﺎ ﻭﻟﻠﻤﺆﻣﻨﻴﻦ ﻭﺍﻟﻤﺆﻣﻨﺎﺕ ﻭﻻ ﺗﺰﺩ ﺍﻟﻈﺎﻟﻤﻴﻦ ﺇﻻ ﺗﺒﺎﺭﺍ. اللي هيعرف الأدعية دي بسببك " صدقني" هتتفاجئ باذن الله يوم القيامه بجبال حسنات .. وفـ الدُنيا بشلال أمُنيات متحققه ..

Learning and understanding the Qur'an seemed a bit hard to me before as well, so I just thought of reading the entire translation first without going deeper to the meaning. But it actually helped me pursue nearly 70-80% of the Qur'an. The book of Allah is beautiful, easy and understandable. It motivated me to know more and start learning the tafseer. I used to listen to the tilawat of the surah while reading the translation, now each words sound so familiar to me Alhamdulillah.

Well reading the book as it was revealed just for you and interacting with others like they are questions of an exam is an important sign and tip for loving Qur'an. One need to get intimate with his or her lover and to do it we need to be sure our lover is ours instead of others'. So whenever I see explanations in the translations which are showing the ayah is referring to Muhammad PBUH instead of the reader him or herself, I feel distanced. Ultimate solution for this is learning Fasih Arabic, may Allah ley us have it sooner than later. Other tip is starting to read Qur'an daily with a minimum goal of ayahs or pages alongside its translation and try to make it a habit.

One of the best sources to learn about Quran/Islam is Christian Prince, he has made numerous KZbin videos and written books and Arabic is his first language. Another scholar with middle eastern roots is Sam Shamoun. These two have a wealth of knowledge we all can learn from.

Perhaps it is just personal preference, but I found that to be an easy Juz. I find surahs such as surah ash-Shu'araa hard due to the repeating and short nature of the verses. By the way, I learnt juz 24 by starting from juz 30, so I did 30,29,28... till 24. Alhamdulillah, I didnt have to struggle with Mutashaabihat this way thanks to my Ustadh.
