In other words his goal in the race was to race clean (no penalties and as little contact with other drivers) to prove that he could compete safely without causing incidents on the track. Especially starting that far back, winning was not only not the goal, but not an option. But a good clean race picking up positions from where you started is as good as a win to show a team that you belong on the track.

I really love the rearview cam you guys got going on there. I just wish it was mirrored so that it matched the way the cars flew past you instead of the guy who was marooned on the inside grass went past you on the right but it was on the left side in the "mirror". Glad you enjoyed the MX5 racing Jimmy. I was in “ the white car” in race 2 and after starting in P41 after a problem in race 2 had a lot of fun picking up 21 places but then got stuck in that gaggle. You did really well to keep out of trouble and to get on the pace so quickly🏁👏

this takes me back! my friends dad used to race mx5s and I used to go with him and camp out! Waking up at anglesey circuit to the sound of formula jedi and the view of the sea was a highlight, before applying stickers to the mazda!
