Hi shannon the colour looked great at the end. My question is you used a 4n over what looked like a level 8/9 balayaged ends. I know you said you didn't want to pack the hair full of pigment as she goes light for summer. But how come her ends didn't go muddy if the 4n has no warmth in it ? Would it be something to do with the background shade of shades eq and the make up of the pigments that make a level 4? I use loreal brand and a 4 in thier brand would need added warmth/ prepigmenting so i know there's a lot of pigment differences between brands. Id really appreciate your knowledge on this. A few reasons! The 04n in ShadesEQ gloss has a tan background instead of a gray background (every line is different) and her hair in particular is very resistant..I probably would have chosen something else if she was particularly porous!

Nice work!! You are very professional in your technique! I was taught that shades eq has an emulsion in the processing solution, so you don't need to shampoo. Idk if that matters😊. Excellent work -I like your style & I like olives too

Will you say that 4N EQ is good to add over a orange tone warm dark brown? Will that darken the hair? I am looking to tone it and elkminate the redish and oranges tones under when it reglects under the sun

Cristina Andrea I would recommend you tone your brassy hair and then apply the 4n that way you can get rid of the brassyness and when your 4n fades a bit you have that toner underneath therefore it wade fade back to a brassy color, just a suggestion I know you were asking the girl in the video -_-

No ammonia !!! Yer right !!! It has mea in it which is a liquid form of ammonia also builds up inside the hair so has to be rinsed for longer all colours contain ammonia otherwise they wouldn't work #noshadenot

I hope u or anyone who knows can help me I used to be a platinum blonde and went back to brunette after dying it like 7 times brown its finally brown but I have green highlights who r only noticeable in the sun dying it red or a orange brown with no amonia will help the green parts or it'll make me red/orange ? because my currently hair rn is off black .. I don't wanna damage my hair more than that because its already elastic

Yes exactly! Mix a little bit of red in with your brown color and it will counteract the green hue 👌🏻 watch my toning video, it goes into detail with color correction!

I have some Greys and lots of brassiness, how would you get rid of that? I used wella light brown and mixed it with med brown toner and it didn't work? Need a good deep conditioner too.
