RESIN SAFETY
Please use resin with care. Any health and safety questions should be asked directly to the company of the resin you use. Read your product safety data sheet (SDS) before using, always wear PPE- nitrile gloves, respirator and goggles or a full-face respirator. Do it in an open, ventilated area- separate to your living spaces. Long sleeved clothing is also advised. Do some research into using resin safely so you can be as well informed as possible to the possible health risks of using it incorrectly.

I don't get why people downvote a video 🙄, especially when it's full of GREAT TIPS! Also when one considers that there is no actual single comprehensive guide to resin crafting, I feel it's rude to downvote a video and not advise the reason. (Assuming the downvote was about content and not something else like videography, audio, etc.)
@LatinaGem856
@LatinaGem856 2 жыл бұрын
Completely agree. I rarely down vote a video. And if I got something out of it (even if 3 out of the 4 I already knew) I always like the video. Everyone does things differently. Just because you don't do it the same way doesn't mean the video isn't useful or deserves a down vote.

The tips are very good and useful. I wish have known this when I started my resin work a year ago where after demolding and excited have to ruin the front during doming - most of my first work had to be thrown away (tip number 4). Do you use cold or warm soapy water to wash the finished products? Thanks so much for sharing this video 👍🏽

@@SeriouslyCreative oo thank you for the reply. ❤️ If you do find a proper disposal do share them. We can't burn the wipes & cups used for mixing cuz it is toxic right. So should we dig it in. How do you dispose it. It will really be helpful if u could do a video about this too ☺️

Can i use the liquid latex on the back of wooden earrings when i am resining the front.? Thanks. 😊😊
@SeriouslyCreative

I'm not sure how it would work as I've never tried on wood. An educated guess would be no, as I'd worry about not being able to peel it off due to the wood being porous...

I’m just starting to use resin and have leaned a lot from you. Do you dome both sides? If only one, then which side? I’m thinking the back side, because the front is already shiny and smooth, but I saw someone paint the resin over the front to make it even more shiny. Some tips please!

have you tried hot glue?
@jennifermarie1230
@jennifermarie1230 Жыл бұрын
But when using painters tape you have to pull the tape off at a certain time otherwise it will adhere to the piece if the resin starts to harden. When do you know that it is not too little time or too much time beacause if you touch the piece to take off the tape too early you're not gonna ruin it because it is still wet if that makes sense.
