Since I see alot of comments that say there are too many tables, I want to say, that I really like it this way. Most viewers play in the same way anyway, so i dont see a problem.

I don't see the problem either. People can always hit the rewind button like I do. I think I recall him saying in an earlier video that he plays up to 25 tables when not recording, so this is probably a laid-back Sunday afternoon for him anyway haha.

Hey Ben, great content as always! Wanted to ask about 1:19:38 shoving AJo utg, this kind of situation happens very often and I'm not sure how to play specifically AJo and KQo utg with 15bb, sometimes I even raise fold or fold preflop, because I don't see it as profitable shove against calling ranges. Just wanted to hear your thoughts on that.
@RaiseYourEdge6 жыл бұрын
It is about the foldequity you have plus the equity when called. You should defenitely study those spots with the help of nash.

What´s up Ben? Great video! I have a question: minute 38:25 the AJ hand left side, why is the 2s the best bluff card? Wouldn´t be better for you to bluff without a spade? You´re repping QT, J9, KQ? What do you think his range is? TX, J8? Thanks!
@RaiseYourEdge6 жыл бұрын
Because we block the flushes he can have. If the flushdraw bricks I wouldnt continue bluffing since we block his folding range (flushdraws).

Thanks for the video Ben. About 44 on the leftside at 1:09:57. You say it is a rejam. Is 44 the bottom of your default jamming range UTG versus BB 25 bbs effective? I think I would jam 77+ here. But maybe you have a read on him that he is opening too wide UTG?
@RaiseYourEdge6 жыл бұрын
for 25bb and less you can rejam any pair profitably against any position from BB.
@EuthanizePitbulls5 жыл бұрын

@Yerr13376 жыл бұрын
Suited ace is a nobrainer call. Offsuit performs terribly and is too often dominated. Even if you hit an ace you're only winning small pots or playing in bluffcatcher mode and losing big pots.

First you need to put in some work with HRC/ICMizer in order to estimate the frequency you can raise/fold with. Then you pick hands that are quite marginal as a jam. The very +ev hands which we can not raise/call tho (22-33 or JTs, K9s,K8s etc..) we just jam. Then we raise/fold the slightly -ev or slightly +ev all in hands and balance them with our premium hands. With
@Dzastater6 жыл бұрын
Ben, Imagine you have KK, you are big blind no flop, would it be better to raise big from the beginning? what if you are under the gun, would you just jam them or would you flat/trapcheck in order to make them think you don't have a great hand. One of the hardest things is when to bet big or when to trapcheck, i always think if you let many people limp, that you will get a badhit which is obviously less profit than bet big and win a smaller pot after they eventually fold
