I've been watching Aris since 2012, around the time tag 2 launched. I also have been a mod on his channel since 2015. Aris' channel grew because of his authentic personality. He always played the games he enjoyed and never chased trends or forced himself to play 'the hot new thing'. He never tried hard, never had any stream overlays and he still uses the same 10 year old camera despite being a top 100 streamer on the site.

I feel like Aris' streaming mindset is so much more forward-thinking - you can see the mental pressure all these other streamers put themselves under by trying to chase success. His channel is about him doing what he wants to do and what he enjoys. It's all well and good going after success at any cost but it's also a quick route to burning yourself out

Try watching a stream of your favourite KZbinr playing Among Us and you can tell that they're trying so hard to be entertaining because they're in it to make content and money, which is not really a bad thing per se, but one of the reasons why Aris' streams are so fun to watch is because you can feel him genuinely being a fun guy, and that there's not too many moments in his streams where he runs out of things to talk about and is just silent for a few minutes, unlike most streamers out there. You can also feel his genuine hatred when he says "shut the fuck up bitch"

His thoughts on this topic are really interesting, and you can tell he's being sincere about doing things because they're fun and not because they'd be beneficial to his "career". Aris has created a very unique space in the internet and he seems to appreciate it as much as his fans do :)
