As someone who was unemployed for years, you can find the place you need to be. I went from being a mercenary cubicle drone to a security guard that keeps people and places safe, after doing years of unemployment and temp work. It's not only been an extremely satisfying job, it's also "essential" during this time of viral outbreak and has led to financial stability when other jobs might not have. I also fucking *love* my job. My brother was in the same boat, and he was unemployed for something like 10 years before nailing a job in manufacturing that he utterly owns at and is also considered "essential." When my hours got cut due to the virus, I took up writing again and intend to focus on that as my employment end-goal when I'm done being an officer. Don't give up. There is a place out there for you.
