Bryan has decent pokes like his Snake Edge. Asuka doesn't have as great poking tools as you might think. She has to be even more defensive than Kazuya because she doesn't have a fast wavedash to cover space so easily.

I thought it was a DP motion (f, n, d, df). But anyway try pressing the button while you're still on the middle of the motion (so basically press it while on "d"). Seems to help for me. (You can also do it with just (f, n, df) but that's harder imo, think ppl call this PEWGF)

Hey aris thank you for the button confíg advice in one of your videos... for me it is true that everytime I press two inputs it’s doesn’t happen , I think their is a bug in the game. Now that I have config my back buttons to the two button dilemma I have been able to pull off all my moves perfectly without missed input.. which helps a lot online. Is this permitted in tournaments though?

peter because kazuya doesnt have good pokes, his mixup game is risky aswell , his max damage comes from CH df+2 which is not easy in tournament pressure and you just cant hit 13frame electrics all the time no matter how good you are and Most Importantly he doesnt have hopkick or low crushing launcher

Does anyone actually use Kazuya's b+4? Dislike how his Demon Steel Pedal was displaced from b+4 (like DVJ) to f,f+4, making f+4 out of wavedash impossible without stopping it. His current b+4 can be changed to b,b+4 so Demon Steel Pedal can be b+4 again.

Fucking Kazuya Mishima. Badass dude with a badass VA. My favorite character but damn his offense is lacking. For a dude so savage, lacking is offense is wack. That's my biggest issue with him. I can do double EWGF combos and WD whatever but playing offense is a damn challenge.

Basically Kazuya lacks fast mids to pressure and mix up the opponent. For instance, if you try out Jin, Jin has a ton of options. Not only does he have the WD into axe kick(same as Kazuya) and the Hellsweep but he also has d/f+1 which launches on CH. A hop kick that leads to combos and low crushes, d/f+3,3 which starts low then goes mid, ff+2(mid), 214 which is a High>Mid>Mid string, 1>d+3 a simple high to low combo, u/f+2 which is a SS mid. B+3 knee that on CH leads to a combo. D/f+4 on CH leads to a combo. B+4 back kick that hits mid. But yeah, Jin can mount an offense or use his pokes to keep people out. Bryan also has this but CH shit all over the place. B+1 elbow that's safe on block and launches on CH, ws/f/qcf+3 knee. D/f+1, f+2,1, Orbital hell, 3+4, and so on. I don't remember off the top of my head. Bryan has fast mids. If you look at info on Kazuya, there's a big emphasis on his Wave Dash mixups and use of the EWGF. This is because his toolset isn't that varied in terms of fearful mixups hence why Wave Dashing is a huge deal with him. In terms of the counter hit game, he has d/f+2 but that's at least -10f on block. Any decent Kazuya will punish that 100%. His d/f+1 leads to nothing. D/f+1 doesn't command respect. Kazuya doesn't really have multi hit strings that he can use repeatedly as majority of his moveset is mainly only two hits. Kazuya is praised for his punishment game. 13F EWGF and the fastest WS launcher in the game WS+1,2(twin pistons hitconfirmable). Outside of Hellsweep, his lows aren't that threatening. A lot of him is just a single hit strike here and there. d/b+4, f+4, ff+4, (far away)f+3, ff+3, d/f+1. That's why people always bring up his punishment and WD mixups. And why you need to use his Flash Combo for a 10f punish. The 112 KDs and leads to WD mixups and the other ender leaves the opponent standing but leaves Kazuya with frame advantage. You poke here and there and use EWGF to pressure. But Kazuya can't really bully the opponent unless you get into their head.
