Time to main Kazuya
@BandaiSCUM7 жыл бұрын
Being a Hwoarang player and spending 2 months learning JFSR playing Kazuya and having the option to punish -13 frame moves with an electric is soooo good!
@Autoswitched7 жыл бұрын
Yeah, since they have the same motion however, you gotta make sure it says "punish" when you attempt to punish a -13 move, a good way of practicing it is punishing a hopkick e.g. kings. Another more rewarding way is d/f+2 pewgf

What's the difference between WGF and EWGF?? i've seen people using the electric one all over youtube and i can't seem to google any reason why the electric one is better... i'm kinda new to kazuya and i really want to keep practicing with him so your video was really helpful, thank you!!! ^^
@Olrek7 жыл бұрын
The EWGF is +5 on block, and has pushblock. The wgf is -10 on block (punishable) and doesn't give any pushback. Also, the EWGF comes out a frame faster.
@Bibatkovstvo7 жыл бұрын
thanks a lot!!! and another lame question haha if an attack is punishable or used in punish, it means it does a bit more damage, right? sorry i'm really not familiar with all these tekken terms at all >
@Autoswitched7 жыл бұрын
Also ewgf is preferable in juggles due to recovering slightly quicker, as well as coming out a frame faster. Ewgf comes out at 14 frames at quickest input, 15 frames with a wgf. If you do the mist step version (f,n d/f+2) Kazuya gets a 13 frame ewgf, and a 14 frame wgf. I'll be making a ewgf tutorial on my new channel so, yay

Alright, let's do a mini tutorial yay, Punish = Getting a free hit after your opponent did a move that's unsafe, most unsafe move being -10 on block or hit. Extra damage can only be granted on moves either during rage or a counter hit. A counter hit means you hit your opponent as their move came out, so your move does extra damage, or depending on the move, can even give you a juggle, or different properties so example being Kazuya d/f+2 So.. The games runs at 60 frames a second. 60 frames = 1 second The quickest move in the game is a jab at 10 frames and each move has a certain "advantage" and "disadvantage" If I do a move that comes out in 10 frames, but my opponent does a move that comes out in 12, the 10 frame move will win every time ASSUMING that they both were inputted exactly the same time. Moves in this game have block stun, however each move is different. If I do a move that's -10, that means my opponent can do any move that comes out in 10 frames, and it's guaranteed because i'm -10 and they recover 10 frames quicker than me, and their move comes out in 10 frames, so it's a PUNISH! The more Minus (-) a move is, the stronger the punish the other person can do. E.G. If a person is -16, Kazuya can launch them with ewgf or wgf. If a move is + on block, this means they recover quicker, so if i'm +4, that means i recover 4 frames quicker. This means, if he does say a 10 frame jab, i can do any move that comes out in 13 frames or quicker and it will beat it every time. Hope that helps.

I think d/f3, 2, 1 is a pretty good move against the wall.
@10_Bit5 жыл бұрын
It's a bit misleading to say b, n, d/f, f for a KBD while I guess if I understand that you're saying it from a player 2 pov to a player 1 but it's actually b, n, d/b, b.

I'm a tekken noob an this was super usefull thanks a lot dude! I don't think kazuya is the right character to learn for a newbie like me but he's so cool lmao is it normal that while standing moves are giving me a peculiar hard time?
@Autoswitched7 жыл бұрын
You just gotta learn the timing to be honest, hold down, and give it a split second, then input it. Doing it out of a wave dash also takes practice. Remember, when you block a move, a while standing move becomes easier to do because your character can block INSTANTLY!

as a pad player, do you have any tips for me on how to improve on movement? also why aren't you using a stick? I thought it was better overall for mishimas
@Autoswitched7 жыл бұрын
Personal preference > whatever anybody else says. Just practice, it's difficult on pad and stick.
@furious_malic78087 жыл бұрын
Just keep practicing it was tricky at first and I even mess up more often then than not but I am able to do three or 6 consecutive wavedashes in training mode u just have to keep practicing ur movement and play alot
@TheMr1luigi7 жыл бұрын
jacob gomez Thanks man, I'm much better at it right now but, whenever I get pressured on in a real game I forget to use it lol. However, when I play calmly I can do it just fine. It's a wonderful tool for mind games xD

How do you trade a pewgf with a jab, if a jab is 10f and a pewgf is 13
@montyhandal72196 жыл бұрын
Hardly Aimbotting ewgf is +5 making your move just as fast as a jab.....

Why do you press 2+3 when doing the EWGF?
@Autoswitched7 жыл бұрын
Superstar Banana Mix in tag 2 you could map multiple of the same button, but in this game you can't. I play on pad and map my L1 to 2+3
@Lncphblt7 жыл бұрын
why do you have 2 + 3 when performing an electric
@Autoswitched7 жыл бұрын
because I bind my L1 to 2+3 as it counts as an electric input, and makes it easier to hit.
@Autoswitched7 жыл бұрын
Binding L1 as your 2, or 2+3 makes it easier on Pad since you don't need to co ordinate via 2 hands

i dont know what did you mean of -15 and this numbers
@Autoswitched7 жыл бұрын
Frame data, it depicts how fast a move comes out. Now, say a move comes out in 12 frames, if someone does a move that comes out in 10 frames, that means the 10 frame move wins because it's faster right? However moves also have block stun, and hit stun that give + frames meaning it takes longer for them/me to recover depending on move Simple terms, -15 means it's launch punishable by any 15 frame launcher. If someone is -15 you can hit them with any move that comes out in 15 frames or less, generally the higher the frame, the slower the move. So let's say I do a hopkick, that move is -13 because it takes them 13 frames before they can block, i can punish them with b+1,2 with Kazuya, or pewgf (Perfect electric wind god fist)
