I used to be unlicensed and driving everywhere in my moms van while she was working. We were homeless back in 2012 so I had no choice. So, when I finally took my driving test, the instructor said "You've driven this car a lot, haven't you" she could tell that I had driven a ton. Those driving instructors aren't stupid. They made the right choice.

Best advice I can give anyone it that your exam is all about showing the examinator you know and perform all the textbook steps when driving, before changing lanes you look in the center mirror, side mirror, over your shoulder and then signal before moving over after having cleared your dead zone.

It happens to the best of us man, don't worry about it. Not sure about where you live, but at my place it's all about finding excuses to make students fail and pay extra (just like uni). If you violated the rules to stay safe and avoid an accident and they made you fail the test for it they can suck a fat one. You'll pass one day and never have to take an exam ever again.

Getting ready for driving exams in most EU countries takes months and failure rate in my country is around 60% on first try. The system is corrupt as fuck and all they care about is milking students for extra hours and exams here, while the teacher humiliates you during the lessons you pay for. Learning to drive here was one of the worst experiences in my life.
