Nothing like a guy talking mean shit to pirates, with a calm, soothing voice. Reminds me of a George carlin joke. "If he's yelling I'm going to kill you, he's probably not going to kill you. But if a guy comes up to you and says (smoothly) I'm going to kill you, run!"

"It's not going to be hugely popular content but I think it's going to make an interesting staple of the channel for now." Careful, this is far from the first time a channel innocently picks up a voxel based building game only to end up revolving around it for eternity :^)

If you do go back and read this, and haven't already learned it. Cylindrical ships are the best for avoiding fire head on vs multiple targets though against a single target a flat ship also works pretty great. Because you can easily throw their aim off on a single axis. Imagine a wide flat ship, place some directional thrusters on the far tips of the wing and you'll get insane tilt and toll potential, just like a plane. Additionally you also get the ability to move up and down rather fast too. Meaning you can duck under or over fire from the enemy. Plus by using plane controls you've likely learned from other games, rolling and tilting to keep the enemy in your sights should feel fairly natural!

With your deceleration problems, it might help you to know that if you hold F to activate the tractor beam when approaching a station, it instantly stops your ship no matter how fast it is moving. It doesn't help you avoid slamming into asteroids, but it makes station docking way easier. Also, I love this series. I love Avorion anyway, and seeing how somebody else builds their ships is really helpful.

hey Stealth a few tips: the key R can be used to select the closest hostile target, G for the closest friendly and Tab for ciclying through everything. also in the build menu you can change the scale and grid size all the way to 0.5 so you can make really small details with the light and glow blocks.

@Stealth17Gaming4 жыл бұрын
That game looks good, but how is it different from Space Engineers?
@officialbazzargaming4 жыл бұрын
@@Stealth17Gaming a good question. As of right now I'd say it focuses more on in depth ship design like cable management mass distribution, structure design and such, whereas space engineers is more dumbed down. You place most internal equipment wherever, based on protection/accessibility alone, where with SB it's more what's heavy, how it affects roll rates and such. Other than that I'm not sure. But the ship designer is far closer to Avorion more than the first person placement style of Space Engineers.
