Yes, the court was 30x30 back then. There wasn't any let serves or antennas, & you couldn't touch the net. It was a much easier game for smaller players back then.

Also handsets and doubles on anything except a hard driven ball were called religiously. And no rally scoring. Stamina was stressed.

I got hit like that once by a guy who, needless to say, didn't hit 1/10 as hard as Stokie, and I was down for the count. I can't even imagine Fro's pain, or how he got up so soon.
