AVR veteran diesel shunter runs around train & hauls it away

Avon Valley Railway is a Heritage line run entirely by volunteer rail enthusiasts. It is located in the Avon Valley corridor between Bristol & Bath on part of the line of the former Midland railway route between Mangotsfield Junction & Bath Green Park Station. The restored railway currently runs for 2.6 miles between Oldland Common through its base at Bitton with works currently in progress to extend it to Saltford.

Yes it is the BR Class 07 funny enough the same number

A cab ride!? Wow, I havent seen many videos of the 07 shunters, but it sounds pretty neat to have a cab ride. Pity you didnt have your camera, :( but thanks for letting me know! Keep em coming!

It's a diesel-electric, not hydraulic :) Class 07 - Originally used in Southampton Docks. Good video though :) I mainly like it as I'm in it coupling the loco haha. Shame I made a mess of the vacuum pipes and took ages. Awkward things.

So little technical information about these shunters, ie engine, hp etc. Maybe it's a secret or the tec spec's not known. A look in the cab and driving controls would be very interesting.
