Yeah, this is one of my favorite Avi videos. He sure looks happy doing this. He strikes me as someone who just lives to make music. I love the other two singers voices and how they blend with him. Thanks for the great reaction.

Clicked so fast!! This was shot in the same area as Aberdeen. The woman is Marissa Esposito and the man drumming on the end is Noah Hunt. They are long time friends and Marissa and Noah run Endeavor studios in California. Marissa reaches at Avi's Academy also. Frank Hobbs is the banjo player. They all play together periodically but are not a group as such. This is off the ep he did before he left PTX. It didn't come out until after he left so a lot of folks think he did it after he left. Kevin played his cello on Fields and Pier off this ep. He tuned his cello lower and Avi harmonized with it. Most people don't realize that when they listen. Say hi to Blue for me.

Thanks for the info. I was wondering who the other singers were. The woman has an incredible voice, and they all blended so well. To bad they didn't stick as a group, but it seems Avi likes to mix group and individual stuff.

You were correct. Nashville, Tennessee and New York, New York. This was filmed in California, one of the few states where you can find the mighty Sequoia.

This is such a great cover from Avi, I LOVE it. I hate the original cause my family have always used it as a theme song for me cause of my name (they change the Hey Ya to Tayah) but this version is amazing.

Yes, One of his favorite places from when he was young was Sequoia National Forest. I think some of his family is from around there.

One year later...Avi recorded an EP with this group near the end of his PTX phase. Another good one from this EP is Sweet Adeline. You might want to react to it since you enjoyed this one so much. It's the same sort of vibe.

You need to react to Avi's "Quarter past four" it was his first song released after leaving the group and he said that it has his thoughts and feelings that built up leading to his departure and after he made his decision... it is really interesting to listen to and watch the video after you know about the symbolism placed in it and the lyrics...
