People Always say Avril get pop, Avril isn't the same today. But if you look out, you will see so many 90's and 00's others pop/rockers, pop/punk artists had changed this way, like Coldplay (specially), Maroon 5, Simple Plan, Green Day etc. THE CHANGE COMES WITH AGE. WE BECOME MATURE. WE ALL ARE NOT THE SAME LIKE WE WERE BEFORE. And that time these artists were TEENAGERS. I have a question for you: ARE YOU THE SAME AS YOU WERE WHEN YOU WERE CHILD/TEEN?? I guess you're NOT.

You can mature and still not change your taste in music. Actually I belive that most artist do not change their music genre when aging. Also I believe a lot of these artist changed their music style in order to continue being likeable for the masses.

@@melissa7312 But no one thinks the same you think.. we are different in some kind of way. You're pretty right when you said some artists change their styles just to be likeable. Some people don't change their taste of music with age.. but always find another tastes. Another ways... i love rock, i've always loved rock music. Before i only loved rock. Today i love rock, i love pop, i love jazz, i love r&b, reaggae etc. And if i were a singer, propably would make some stuff with these genres.. That's what she did and that is what she does.
