This is my Childhood. I just want to live in that time again. I mean, look at them. The outfits, the hair, the attitude. 90s and early 00s were just the best time to be alive. Sadly I was too young to go to live concerts in this time especially because I live in germany and the most awesome bands were over in the US. Music today makes me sad mostly. It just isn't as ... i don't even know how to describe this. As "Innocent"? Thats not really it, but it is kinda close. Do you know which feeling I mean? I remember standing in front of a TV at a store in Innsbruck, seeing the videos to No Doubt's "Underneath It All" and Avril Lavigne's "Sk8er Boy" for the first time. Some things, in the world and in my life, are better now (May 2022); but I greatly miss the early 2000s. PS. Yes you can see how she improved her pitching over the years. Tbh she was always quite pitchy at the lower pitches in her early 2000 performances. Her album versions were probably auto tuned really well, and was one of the first polished auto tuned rock albums that defined the sound of that era.

I love what she’s wearing and when she puts her hands in her pockets so casually. She just has pure talent and she is so cool.

This is so incredibly adorable. Everyone was so little. Avril seems really self-conscious and uncomfortable in the beginning but by the end of the song, she is BELTING it like nothing else. Incredible!!

The Lavigne Old Style is DAMN!
@jacobpatrickpoulsen66082 жыл бұрын
Loved her style back then. So simple but she rocked it. Loved how she was so mature when she was just a teenager at the time. This song and era is so nostalgic (in my opinion) because I was only 8-9 years old when this song and the "Let Go" album was released and now looking back the album is still so amazing.
