She was assigned to a secondary stage (big mistake by the organizers). A lot of entertainment media even reported that the main stage and other stages had small audiences since people preferred to go see Avril's show over seeing other artists who were assigned to larger stages at the same hours. Avril completely filled the 70,000 spaces on that stage and even the organizers had to adapt the land so that people who couldn't enter could hear or see her from the outside, that is a prove that Avril must have had a much larger stage as other artist did. Avril is ICONIC and The organizers did not know how to value that and they believed that she could not even fill the secondary stage. She exceeded all expectations. She is a legeeeeend.

@@filmsceneinvestigation ok... I just know there was another stage so muuuuch bigger that the one she was assigned and a lot of people moved from that other stage to Avril's stage because they prefered to see her show, even when it was FULL there were a lot of people wanting to get into her show... If producers had given her the biggest stage since the beggining, this would have not happen, they just understimated her even when she is a fvcking legend for people at all ages so it was very clear she was gonna be a huge artist in the festival sooooo she had to be assigned to the biggest stage. They would’ve been laughed at for putting Avril on the main stage. She’s an unbelievable artist but she is a legacy act on a Greatest Hits tour. She is NOT current. Again, so I’m not misunderstood, her music had an amazing impact 20 odd years ago but that is not main stage headline worthy. It does not matter that lots of people showed up, nor that SZA didn’t fill the main stage. They would’ve had a big marketing problem if Avril was headline status, the internet would’ve torn them apart.

@@kiddaseanAvril is not on a “greatest hits” tour lol. She’s still releasing new music and albums as we speak. You could say the same about Coldplay - think they passed their peak ages ago and yet they’re still getting headline slots all because of the impact they’ve made and of course, “Fix You” 🙄

Had the pleasure of attending her concert in Barcelona this year (2024)... she's everything - a true symbol for so many people born in the 90's. I've never seen such an engaged audience. The energy was incredible, she could not sing at all, we all shouted each song as loud as we could! A true symbol of the 90's, everyone shouted at the top of their lungs, every song was amazing. The true queen of a whole generation. I'm proud of her, and of growing up to her songs - she got me trough so many dark places, hand in hand with her voice...

@DanySB896 ай бұрын
@@Tea-zt5jp No. she was assigned to a secondary stage (big mistake by the organizers). A lot of entertainment media even reported that the main stage and other stages had small audiences since people preferred to go see Avril's show over seeing other artists who were assigned to larger stages at the same hours. Avril completely filled the 70,000 spaces on that stage and even the organizers had to adapt the terrain so that people who couldn't enter could hear or see her from the outside, that is a prove that Avril must have had a much larger stage. Avril is ICONIC and The organizers did not know how to value that and believed that she could not even fill the secondary stage. She exceeded all expectations.

Take me somewhere new I don't know who you are But I, I'm with you I'm with you I'm looking for a place I'm searching for a face Is anybody here I know 'Cause nothing's going right And everything's a mess And no one likes to be alone Isn't anyone tryin' to find me?
